As Caspian slid back across the pavement, his focus locked onto Fubuki's curvaceous figure charging toward him, her box cutter drawn back and ready to slash. What captivated him most was how her movements made her ample chest bounce with each step. When she closed to less than a meter between them, he looked up and caught the teardrops welling in her eyes.
It's time!
Caspian flashed forward, pulling her until her soft body was pressed against his as he spun around to shield her from the oncoming explosion. "Don't worry, you're safe."
Though the explosion had yet to make its grand entrance…
Fubuki stiffened, wordless, her body locked in surprise at the sudden change.
Where are you two!?
Words leaked out from her mouth, carrying a hint of uncertainty. "What do you think you're doing…? You don't h—"
Three familiar voices rang out, cutting off the rest of whatever she had intended to say.
"This is perfect!"
"He certainly doesn't waste any time."
"Insatiable man."

Fubuki believed this man, Caspian, to be insane. At least that was the conclusion she had come to as her rage subsided. He had hugged her out of nowhere, told her not to worry, and that she was safe. Safe from what? Certainly not from him!
Regardless, the hug was brief, as he had let her go when several unexpected guests arrived.
"Yuta, Mosquito Girl, and Suiko. Uh, this isn't what it looks like. I was saving her…" Caspian said, rubbing the back of his neck.
She lowered her arm and stashed away her box cutter, her emotions steadying as she looked at Caspian, who stood ahead of her and off to the side.
Fubuki looked away from him and toward the three newcomers standing in front of a damaged car that rested on the side of the street. Surprise gripped her when she saw their appearances. All three women were breathtaking. There's no way they could all be here to see him.
She first studied the woman named Yuta, whose head was turned away, upset about something. Yuta wore a white bandeau top secured at the center with a small metal clasp, the top's color matching that of her hair that was styled in a high ponytail. Below, a flowing sarong of the same hue wrapped around her waist, tied at the side, behind which were two curved swords crisscrossed on her lower back. While a pair of strapped sandals enveloped her feet.
After a brief glance, she moved to the center most woman… monster? Fubuki wasn't sure, but Mosquito Girl's insectoid features atop her head did nothing to subtract from her beauty. Instead, they accentuated it. Her outfit was simple and cute: a dark gray, pinstriped two-piece outfit, consisting of a knotted crop top with thin straps and loose and high-waisted shorts, paired with black lace-up flats.
Why is she staring at me like that?
Fubuki couldn't describe the strange look Mosquito Girl was sending her way and moved on to the woman at the far right.
Suiko wore casual, comfortable attire — a loose light-blue hoodie and tight gray leggings. She looks familiar. Where have I seen her before? Oh!
"You're the A-Class Hero Suiko! Why are you hanging out around with him?" Her gaze flicked to Caspian before snapping back.
"And you are Fubuki, the Blizzard of Hell." Suiko flashed a grin, exposing her pearly whites, as she closed the distance. "What sort of question is that? Isn't the reason obvious?"
Fubuki's eyes widened when, Suiko seized Caspian the second she reached him, crushing their lips together in a fiery kiss.
Suiko stepped back as she licked her lips. "He's my man, obviously."
Fubuki didn't have time to respond before Mosquito Girl's voice echoed.
"And mine!"
Mosquito Girl shot into Caspian's arms and, like Suiko, kissed him with a desperate hunger. When she stepped away and stood beside Suiko, her eyes wandered over Fubuki's body.
"Another perfect choice, Caspian. Look at her figure. She'll be able to bear many of your offspring with ease."
Offspring!? Fubuki's head swirled.
"What? I don't understand... how?" Caspian's reaction mirrored her own stunned disbelief.
Mosquito Girl raised her pointer finger and wagged it left to right. "Ah, ah, ah, there will be plenty of time for questions later." She looked back and motioned with her finger for Yuta to come closer. "What do you think you're doing back there, missy? Did you forget what we discussed? He's your man too."
Fubuki's worldview tumbled like dryer-spun laundry. He is? They, they are truly sharing a single man? This man?
None of this made sense. What made him so special? He'd assaulted her subordinates unprovoked, then laid bare her most guarded flaws, ones she had never voiced. Every action defied reason. Was that it? Did his mere presence erode others' sanity, too? Was she next?
"I know! You do not have to make such a spectacle of it." Yuta strode toward him across the street, though her confident movements didn't match her nervous countenance.
"Hey yo—" Caspian started before Yuta spoke over him.
"Not another word." Yuta stopped before him, but unlike Suiko and Mosquito Girl, she only hugged Caspian for a breath before stepping back and standing beside the other two, where Mosquito Girl patted her back.
"That's a good start, sister," Mosquito Girl said.
Fubuki searched for words, any reaction, but out of the many unexpected experiences she had had throughout her life, this one ranked near the top.
Caspian looked between them. "I don't know what to say… Are you all really okay with this? The three of you don't find this too fast? Not that I mind."
Mosquito Girl answered straight away.
"Not fast enough and, of course, we are. Thank fate I found these two before they tore into each other, which gave me time to talk some sense into them." Mosquito Girl huffed. "How could you hide them away from me? And then there's that petite one with curly hair." She nodded at Fubuki. "When we add her, that brings your grand total number of wives-to-be up to five. If there are any more beauties you're keeping hidden, tell us now."
Yuta and Suiko didn't say a word, but from their curious gazes, it was clear their interests were piqued.
I'm also his wife-to-be? Do I not get a say?
It was one curveball after the next, but Fubuki had thankfully reclaimed her clarity of mind.
Caspian cleared his throat. "There are two more."
No denial… He truly believes I'm his future wife. No doubt he's the most deranged and insatiable man I've ever encountered.
"Tell us, come on! What are their names? When will we meet them?" Mosquito Girl bounced on her feet, sending bits of glass and pebbles flying away.
"I'm not sure when you'll meet them, but their names are Wavygyaza and—"
Mosquito Girl cut in. "'Wavygyaza,' what a fun name to say."
Even idols aren't safe from his delusions.
Suiko tilted her head and asked, "Are you talking about the idol singer?"
"I cannot not recall anyone by that name, but then again, I do not spend much time listening to music," Yuta mumbled.
"There you are, Caspian. We need to talk."
Fubuki had thought she would be ready for any more surprises, but when she turned and spotted the two new arrivals, she collapsed backward onto her bottom.
"S-Sweet Mask!"
