Chapter 81 - SPOP Chapter 79 Concealment

"Damn it!"

Moya roared in anger. The wound he had been suppressing finally broke open, and bright red blood quickly seeped from his neck, looking horrifying.

"Medic!!"

The Marines nearby, seeing this, immediately shouted, and the scene quickly descended into chaos.

"I'm fine! Go after that kid!"

With a wave of his hand, Moya pushed aside the Marines around him, his expression grim as he shouted.

"Vice Admiral, leave Rojen to us. You must receive treatment now."

A military doctor quickly ran up and began examining Moya, while the Lieutenant Commanders spoke to him with serious expressions.

Clenching his fists, Moya showed no concern for the pain, but his eyes burned with fury.

"Damn it! That brat!"

Due to a moment of carelessness, he had been severely injured, his combat power halved. And just when victory seemed within reach, the kid had used a trick to escape.

"Capture that kid. He's not strong, at most, he is on par with you."

Quickly issuing orders to the officers around him, Moya was forced to accept treatment.

He knew that although he had suppressed the injury during the fight, now that the wound had reopened, if he didn't control it, his life would be in danger.

Baterilla Island was in an uproar as countless Marines rushed into the streets and alleys, searching everywhere for Rojen.

In the heavy rain, there were no civilians on the streets. Even if there were, seeing the dense groups of Marines holding guns with cold, serious expressions, they quickly ran home and locked their doors.

"The Marines have gone mad!"

"What's going on?"

"They're searching for something, turning the entire Baterilla Island upside down."

Such words spread across the island, and the terrified civilians hid in their homes, afraid of being caught up in the chaos.

At the northern street entrance, Rojen's figure flashed by and then disappeared from the Marines' sight.

In a dark alley, the sound of dense Marine footsteps quickly passed through.

After 4-5 squads of Marines passed by in succession, and no sound was heard for fifteen breaths, a figure finally appeared in the alley.

This figure was pressed tightly against the wall, and in the dim light, it seemed to miraculously blend into the shadows.

Only then could the faint outline of the figure be vaguely seen. Five squads of Marines had passed by this figure, with dozens of Marines even making eye contact, but none had noticed him.

"The disguise technique of Ink Jade Qilin was definitely worth it."

A voice of obvious relief came from the figure. Long ago, Rojen had exchanged for the possession of Ink Jade Qilin. Compared to Ge Nie, Sword Heart, and others, Ink Jade Qilin's combat power wasn't particularly outstanding.

However, its disguise technique, capable of countless transformations and even near-invisibility in dark corners, was extremely useful for Rojen at this moment.

Exhausted, Rojen had reached his limits in every aspect. If the Marines spotted him, it would undoubtedly mean his death.

Unless he used the possession system to summon a powerful soul!

But facing these ordinary Marines at Lieutenant Commander level, spending even a fraction of his 500 Million Belly balance would be far from perfect.

Silently standing in the alley, Rojen adjusted his breathing, quickly recovering his stamina.

The Marines were densely deployed, almost entirely focused on capturing him. At this moment, even the slightest movement would attract the attention of large groups of Marines.

It was only now that Rojen realized the pressure these low-level Marines, often treated as cannon fodder, could exert on him.

"Even ants can kill an elephant if given an chance!"

He sighed inwardly.

Suddenly, Rojen's aura converged, and his figure disappeared into the shadows once more.

At this moment, he seemed to merge with the darkness, leaving no trace of his presence.

Just a second later, two Marines ran over, looking panicked.

"Hurry up, we're falling behind the main group."

"I know! That guy is terrifying. Even Vice-Admiral Moya was injured. We need to catch up quickly."

"You never exercise, and now you're in a rush. You're dragging me down with you."

The sound of their conversation grew closer, and the figure that had disappeared in the shadows faintly reappeared.

Soon, the two Marines approached the alley entrance.

"Who's there?"

One of the Marines, the more alert one, sensed something unusual in the alley.

"Don't scare me. There's no one here."

The slightly chubby Marine behind him nervously raised his gun.

"There's a faint smell of blood, very light, but it's definitely there, just ahead!"

The front Marine whispered, his expression growing increasingly serious.

He couldn't see any figure, but his sixth sense told him someone was ahead. He could even hear the faint sound of breathing.

Someone was definitely there!

But why couldn't he see anyone?

A hint of confusion appeared on the Marine's face, but the shadow in his heart grew larger, causing him to grip his gun tighter. Seeing the front Marine's reaction, the chubby Marine became even more anxious.

Suddenly, the front Marine's face filled with shock, his body stiffening.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?"

The chubby Marine asked in a low voice, noticing the other had suddenly frozen.

"You! You!"

The front Marine's eyes were wide with terror, a chill running down his spine.

He saw a transparent outline suddenly appear in the previously empty alley, and within a breath, the outline became clearer, eventually transforming into a person!

With faint bloodstains on his face and a cold gaze, the figure looked exceptionally young. This appearance was all too familiar!

Ro! Rojen!

The front Marine was about to scream in horror, but at that moment, the figure simply slashed downwards.

"Bang!"

The Marine's eyes rolled back as he collapsed to the ground.

As soon as the Marine fell, the chubby Marine was shocked, quickly raising his right hand to pull the trigger.

But Rojen stepped forward, delivering another palm strike.

The chubby Marine barely had time to react before he too lost consciousness.

In just two seconds, both Marines were effortlessly taken down by Rojen, who then dragged them into the alley, disappearing into the darkness.

About ten breaths later, a slightly chubby Marine wiped the sweat from his forehead as he emerged from the alley.

Looking around, the chubby Marine took a deep glance back at the alley before quickly moving forward.

This chubby Marine was none other than Rojen in disguise.

The disguise technique of Ink Jade Qilin was truly impressive; after the transformation, he looked almost indistinguishable from the target.

Soon, the chubby Marine caught up with the main group, joining the other Marines in their search for Rojen.

During this process, Rojen quickly adjusted his breathing, recovering his stamina.

"I just need six hours, and I can fully recover."

Feeling the energy within him, Rojen's eyes flickered as he temporarily sighed in relief.
