Taking advantage of the attention from the crowds on the street, I decide to seize my chance before Christensen conducts any crime on me. I proclaim, "I signed a legal severance agreement with the Averell Family… None of you related to that family is possessed with the authority over my custodian!"
Before he can lay his hands on me again, I shirk him away and run in the opposite direction. Even though the leather shoes are biting my ankles so badly, I run down the street without turning back hoping not to be caught up by Christensen again.

Darkness engulfs the land whilst night paints the sky black. The sky is filled neither with the moon nor stars. Only those distant lamp posts are left filling the street with dim orange lights.
