Elysia found herself struggling for breath once again. Kael was just…hanging there. He looked dead.
Who had done this to him? Who had stopped his heart from beating?
She slammed a fist into one of the screens, sending a spiderweb of cracks across the glass.
Ronin took a step back. "Elysia-"
"I'll kill them. I'm serious, Ronin. Look, there's an armory," she said, pointing to another screen. "We get the people out of their cells and arm them with every weapon in that room."
The Raider nodded. "But how to get them out?" He asked, scanning the other screens.
"Those locks were run by some sort of power source. We find that, we dismantle the locks."
"There," Ronin said. "That grid is the power source. I'm going."
"How will you take it out?" Elysia asked.
Ronin opened a pouch on the side of his leg and pulled out a circular shaped device. "This explosive ought to do the trick."
