Ronin watched the two fighting from afar.
So Elysia had become a fragment wielder. From what he'd observed over the past day, that made four in total. Kael and Varek, everyone knew of.
But Elysia and Lucian? They had been keeping their powers a secret.
Ronin had noticed how Lucian healed those around him with his new powers. Having a healer on hand would prove effective in their upcoming fights.
But would four be enough to take down all seven Royals?
No. It wouldn't be.
They needed a fifth.
And Ronin was ready to be that person.
He'd wielded a fragment before. As one of the upper ranking Officials, he'd been assigned to his own fragment by Magnus Vaelor himself.
But that had also given the High Official the power to strip it away from him if Ronin ever failed him.
And he had. Ronin hated thinking about his past. The days when he hadn't been a Raider. The days when he'd served in such a corrupt military and killed innocents.
