He hurriedly reached for the door to leave the bathroom, but Jagu suddenly growled. He froze mid-step and turned to look at his jaguar.
Jagu rose to his feet and walked toward the door, growling continuously.
Ash narrowed his eyes, fully aware that Jagu had sensed a looming danger.
He drew his sword and carefully began to open the door.
On the other side of the door was a room that looked like a small garden. It had a pond in the center and neatly arranged small trees placed around it.
Two small lamps were mounted on the sides of the garden, but their soft and dim light was not enough to brighten the room, leaving the area poorly lit and filled with shadows.
He stepped cautiously into the garden room, but there was nothing unusual or suspicious in sight.
"What's here, Jagu?" he asked the jaguar, which had started walking towards a corner of the garden, body tensed and still growling.
