Just then, Isaiah emerged from behind her and called out,"Aurélia!" Startled, Aurélia spun around, her eyes wide. Isaiah chuckled, "Why are you scared, like you have seen a ghost?" Aurélia explained, "My friend just said something similar. I'm not used to people sneaking up behind me." Isaiah teased, "So you are not used to surprises, huh?"
Aurélia's response was curt: "That's none of your business." Isaiah shrugged,"Well, okay." Aurélia turned to leave, saying, "You can go ahead to where you were heading. Your girlfriend Gabriella is waiting; don't keep her waiting."
Isaiah's expression turned serious as he confessed, "I know you know I love you although you doubt it, but don't push me away before I've even had a chance. My brother might have warned you about me, but I promise you'll be fine when you're with me. I always keep my promises."
"If you don't know, today I'm going to walk from here," Aurélia said. "Okay, I'll accompany you," Isaiah insisted.
"I thought you're not used of walking," Aurélia said with a hint of sarcasm. "People like you aren't used to walking. You're like royalty, always having servants do everything for you." Isaiah's expression turned somber, and he fell silent for a moment before responding, "I think you're trying to push me away. You're saying these things to hurt my feelings, aren't you?" His voice and face conveyed sadness.
Aurélia felt a pang of guilt over her words. "Okay, you can accompany me," she said softly. As they walked toward her home, an awkward silence settled between them.
When Aurélia and Isaiah reached her home, he glanced at his watch and saw it was already 10 pm. Aurélia stopped at her door, and Isaiah waited for her to enter. After a moment's hesitation, Aurélia turned to him and said, "Hey!" Isaiah paused, looking at expectantly.
Aurélia walked closer to him and asked, "Can you stay at my house for tonight? It's already late. Don't think too much of my gratitude, and I don't think you'll be able to find a taxi at this hour."
A smile spread across Isaiah's face as he replied, "Okay, thank you for your kindness. I accept your offer." Aurélia opened the door, and Isaiah stepped inside.
"Sit down, I'll serve you something. I think you're starving," Aurélia said, opening the refrigerator.
Isaiah stood up and walked into the kitchen where Aurélia was. "I'll get the dishes," he said, taking them out to set the table in the dining area. "Hurry up, your pizza will get soggy!" Isaiah called out to Aurélia.
Aurélia brought out a bottle of milk and a bottle of cold water. She then joined Isaiah in the dining area, where he was already seated. "Here you go," she said, handing him the water.
"Thanks!" Isaiah replied. Aurélia sat down beside him. The table was filled an assortment of treats: pizza, caramel snickers cookie cups, and several packs of chocolate cakes. The desserts looked fancy and appetizing, and Aurélia's eyes lit up with delight. She loved sweet treats.
"Thanks, Isaiah," Aurélia said, her smile growing wider. "I knew you'd like them," Isaiah said with a smirk. "Shall we?" he added, inviting her to dig in. Together, they started eating and shared a slice of pizza.
After finishing their desserts, Isaiah helped Aurélia with washing the dishes. "Thanks for today, Isaiah," Aurélia said, her voice soft.
"It's nothing much, just a small beginning," Isaiah replied, his words carrying a hint of promise. Aurélia's heart skipped a beat as she looked away, her face flushing with shyness.
As they moved to the sitting room, Aurélia suggested, "I think we should head to our separate rooms."
"So, you live here alone?" Isaiah asked curiously.
Aurélia hesitated and then she replied after thinking of what to reply, "Of course, yes. It's not scary at all," Aurélia replied with a giggle.
Isaiah's eyes sparkled with amusement as he asked, "So, you're saying I can sleep in your parents' room?" Aurélia clarified, "No, the guest room is empty since we don't usually have visitors."
Isaiah nodded thoughtfully and said, "I'll take a bath in the guest room, then..."
Aurélia completed his sentence, "Then you'll sleep in the guest room."
Isaiah smiled mischievously and said, "No, I'll sleep on the couch in your room." Since you have said that the guest room is empty.
"Anyway, I understand you can't accept it but I was joking. I will sleep in the sitting room anyway, it's cool and the couch is soft. I have to get used, soon you are becoming mine. And I have to get used of each and anything of yours "mine!" Isaiah said, his voice reassuring and serious.
"Aurélia, you are mine today and always," Isaiah added. Aurélia listening to Isaiah's words that were somehow threat but again sweet made her gulped, trying to moisten her parched throat.
Aurélia showed Isaiah to the guest room, pointing out the shower, as the room was sparsely furnished due to infrequent use. Aurélia headed upstairs to her room to shower and get ready for bed. As she entered her room, she couldn't help but smile sweetly, replaying Isaiah's words in her mind.
She grabbed her towel and stepped into the shower, closing her eyes as the warm water cascaded down, washing over her. Aurélia started getting whimsical ideas, how it would have been if Isaiah was in the same shower she was, imagining him walk over towards her, his fingers sensually messaging her body and kissing her neck and everywhere.
Imagining how it could be when they feeling each other's warmth with their naked bodies. She moaned a little as these imaginations whirled in her mind.
She heard Isaiah knocking on her room's door, calling out her name. "I'm coming!" Aurélia shouted, hastily wrapping herself in a bathrobe. Her hair was still wet and tangled, but she looked adorable nonetheless.
Aurélia opened the door to find Isaiah standing there, wet and shirtless, showcasing his toned physique. 'Yes?' she replied, slightly taken aback. Isaiah said, 'Hmm, I don't have anything to wear.' Aurélia stepped back into her room, but Isaiah followed her inside. She headed to her closet, searching for an outfit that might fit him. As she rummaged through her closet, she recalled that her father and Isaiah were similar in height, so her father's clothes might suit him.
She turned to head to her parent's room to check her father's closet, but was surprised to see Isaiah standing in her doorway. Questions swirled in her mind, one of which was why Isaiah was in her room. Her expression turned serious as she approached him, folding her arms. "What are you doing in my room? I didn't give you permission to enter," Aurélia said.
"Isaiah smiled and chuckled, looking handsome. Aurélia wondered what was amusing him. Was he laughing at her, or had he noticed something on her face that she wasn't aware of? "Stay here, I'm going to get clothes for you from my dad's closet," Aurélia said in a commanding tone, pointing a finger at him. Isaiah nodded, still smiling.
