In the dark green mountain forests, new life is being born.
They fall from the fruit on the trees, burst open in the juice, and crawl out. They join this newborn world.
After shaking off the nutrient liquid and licking themselves clean, new life is born.
Although they have just been born, their physique is not small.
With metallic-like shells and a weight of over 300 kilograms, their overall length is nearly three meters, including their tails...
This newly born life, even though it has just been born, is already considered a formidable predator in this world. In the past, it would have been enough to rival tigers and leopards, and to compete with elephants.
Of course, that's in the past. In the current environment, it's just a newborn existence.
Two eyes surveyed this brand new world, filled with curiosity. It staggered forward and then started running on all fours, looking up at the "parents" that nurtured it, the trunk of the big tree.
Its body, resembling that of a ground dragon with armor, gave it a strange and captivating beauty, reminiscent of a combination of giant terrestrial crocodiles and beetles from the Permian period, a terrifying behemoth clad in armor destined to rule this ecosystem.
The newborn creature moved its body, stretched its muscles, and then leaped forcefully, jumping straight up from the ground to a height of seven or eight meters, its claws gripping onto a tree trunk as it climbed up.
Despite wearing heavy armor, in terms of agility, it was no less than the felines outside.
The new ecosystem was layered, with towering trees reaching twenty to thirty meters high above the hills, forming a new biological environment with their sturdy leaves.
It was called the canopy layer of the new ecosystem.
Unlike conventional canopy ecosystems, the new canopy layer ecosystem resembled the forest floor, with large predatory animals and decomposers breaking down animal and plant remains.
Ultimately, this was because the dense leaves and their incredible weight-bearing capacity prevented dead animals from falling to the ground; instead, they landed stiffly on the leaves.
The branches and leaves that could withstand sufficient weight also allowed large terrestrial animals seeking carrion to reach the canopy layer to search for corpses.
In addition to a small group of photosynthetic organisms acting as the foundation and medium-sized animals feeding on fruits and parasites on plants, serving as links in the food chain, a brand new ecosystem emerged.
Now, even large predators weighing hundreds of kilograms could live comfortably at the top of the forest.
In just over four days since its birth, Godzilla's ecosystem had evolved quite impressively.
The newly born creatures, jumping from the ground to the leaves and branches of trees, continued to maneuver and adapt to their new bodies.
And then, at that moment, in the distance, echoing from the horizon, came the sounds of explosions that seemed to make the mountains tremble.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
A thunderous sound, even larger than the mightiest thunderclap, seemed to materialize into a tangible impact, causing the entire forest to rustle.
If it were ordinary flora and fauna hearing such a massive and terrifying sound, they would have fled long ago.
But the newborns and all other creatures in the forest showed no signs of discomfort upon hearing this colossal sound. Not only were they not uncomfortable, they were excited.
The newborn creature leaped onto higher branches with a few hops, then climbed upward. After a few more jumps, it reached the top of the forest canopy.
From there, it looked towards the source of the thunderous roar. In the distance, a blue mountain was moving.
That was their god, their creator.
Though it was several miles away, its presence was still awe-inspiring. The newborn creature continued to gaze at its god until it disappeared from view, feeling somewhat reluctant to let go.
It liked Godzilla, they liked Godzilla.
After their god finished its inspection and activities, it was time for hunting.
The agile creature climbed down from the top of the leaves, then looked around. Its armored nostrils caught the scents of other creatures. It was time for its first meal since birth.
Nature was cruel; all living things fought among themselves, with some species occasionally facing extinction. From this perspective, even human extinction of other species was just another form of evolution, not overly cruel.
But at the same time, nature was also compassionate. It provided an environment for all life to coexist. Even if some species went extinct, their evolved descendants or their closely related counterparts would thrive.
Just like non-avian dinosaurs evolved wings and soared through the sky, leaving their mark on the world.
Nature's struggles were never about complete eradication.
As night fell, the creature found its first prey: another recently born offspring that burst from the branches.
It, too, was a carnivorous beast, like the creature itself, existing to sustain its own life by depriving others of theirs.
The newborn sensed the unwelcome visitor on the branch, revealing its gums and fixing its eyes firmly on the intruder.
The claws on its four limbs emerged in layers, attempting to scare off the predator on the branch.
But at that moment, from the darkness on the other side, another figure descended at lightning speed.
With its full weight pressing down on the creature with double-layered claws, the newcomer swiftly launched its attack, intending to snap its spine in that moment.
However, it was a step too late.
Just as it focused on the armored intruder on the branch, another figure dropped from above at lightning speed.
Before it could react, the creature's hind legs swiftly kicked up, aiming for the enemy descending from the sky. It kicked it to the ground and then whipped its tail at its face.
Turning around, it used its claws to cut into the opponent's body, engaging in a fierce struggle.
There was more than one waiting in the darkness, and waiting might not always be the best option.
Crack!
After the scuffle between the two below, the armored crocodile on top also moved. It climbed down from the tree trunk, seizing the opportunity of the skirmish between the two newborns, then sprinted forward, aiming its thick-skulled head at both newborns.
Boom!
The moment it made contact, it succeeded.
However, the struggling parties also noticed this scene and temporarily ceased their fighting, joining forces to deal with this new addition.
The three sides clashed, and in a fortunate coincidence, the multiple claws of the fierce beast sliced open the throat of the armored crocodile, while the crocodile's jaws bit down on the neck of the third party, and the third party's leg kicked the head of the fierce beast.
The forest fell silent.
The three severely injured beasts lay down separately, seemingly on the brink of death.
At that moment, a flawless white moonlight bathed them.
A miraculous phenomenon occurred.
