Alexis turned back and forth on the bed, grunting at the feel of someone trying to wake her up. The society gala would begin at six pm. She wanted to get as much sleep as possible, before having to deal with the guests, including her family who was sure to come.
"Alexis." Keelion brushed the hair off her face. "Wake up."
She blinked her eyes open and looked up at him. "Keelion?"
"Yes, it's me." He pulled her up to sit on the bed. "I want you to go somewhere with me."
"Somewhere?" she asked as he lifted her off the bed and walked her over to the dressing room.
She was already in sweats, so he made her wear his shirt, oversized for her.
"Where are we going?"
"Don't worry, we won't stay till the sun comes up. We'll be back before then." Keelion popped close the buttons of the shirt and had her slip her feet into her pair of sneakers, then he opened the door to leave the room.
