Casimir stumbled back slightly, his breathing growing heavier. Despite being a vampire, an immortal being immune to fatigue and sickness, perks to being an undead.
His limbs ached, and his body felt like it was suffocating under invisible pressure. The air seemed thicker now, mostly because of how anxious he was feeling at the moment.
It was clear to him that this brat did something to him.
What he did not know.
But Adam seemed more than confident in his win; for that reason, he was not afraid to tell him that fact of life as it is.
"You are feeling it, aren't you, something you have never felt before, right?
Adam asked with a smug look on his face as he continued speaking.
"Sudden weakness... the weight of your own mortality pressing down on you as time goes on...
"Yeahhh... I know it's not a nice feeling, right?"
He smugly asked.
"Well, you don't have to worry about a thing."
