Ivanna looked relieved when the doctor gave Neal a clean bill of health.
"Good, I'm glad you're both okay,"
she said, smiling slightly.
Nick, who was sitting nearby, getting his stitches, looked up at Neal and grinned.
"Told you I'm fine,"
he said, wincing slightly as the doctor worked on his stitches.
Neal rolled his eyes good-naturedly.
"Yeah, yeah, I know."
He walked over to Ivanna and stood beside her, watching as the doctor finished up with Nick's stitches.
After the doctor finished up with Nick's stitches, Neal turned to Ivanna and said, "Hey, Ive, maybe you should get checked out too? Just to be sure?"
Ivanna's expression turned firm, and she shook her head.
"I'm fine, don't worry about me,"
she said, her voice decisive.
Nick, who had been watching the exchange, chimed in,
"Yeah, Ive, just to be safe..."
But Ivanna cut him off, her voice unwavering.
"I'm perfectly fine, guys. Let's just get out of here and go home."
