Chapter 59 - Frieza’s Continuous Transformation—A Tyrant’s Fury Unleashed Against Vegeta’s Defiant Stand

The dusty plain near the city shimmered with heat, the air thick with the acrid tang of scorched earth and metal. Frieza's legion lay in ruins—soldiers strewn like broken toys, their armor cracked and smoking. Dodoria and Sabo, Frieza's prized lieutenants, sneered as they squared off against Nappa and Raditz, their voices dripping with arrogance. "Just two worms with barely ten thousand combat power," Dodoria began, his pink bulk flexing. Sabo nodded, smirking, "This'll be quick—"

Their taunts died as Nappa and Raditz flicked their wrists, deflecting the duo's qigong waves with casual disdain. The beams veered wildly, slamming into a cluster of Frieza's grunts. Twin explosions lit the sky, fireballs blooming as screams cut off abruptly. Another swath of the legion vanished in the blast, leaving the once-dense ranks a pitiful scatter.

Raditz threw his head back and laughed, wild hair swaying. "Thanks for the assist, Dodoria, Sabo! Couldn't have cleared them faster myself!"

Dodoria's face twisted, veins bulging. "You'll pay for that, Raditz!" Sabo's blue skin flushed with rage, his fists trembling.

Nappa grinned, feral and wide. "A little gratitude's in order—I'll send you off quick!" He blurred forward, a streak of motion too fast for their widened eyes to track. Frieza's hand shot up, a slender qigong wave lancing toward Nappa. To him, grunts were disposable, but Dodoria and Sabo—over 20,000 each—were worth a flicker of effort.

Too late. Nappa's eyes flared, twin beams bursting forth in a blinding flash. Dodoria and Sabo's heads vaporized, their bodies jerking before crumpling mid-air. Nappa swatted Frieza's wave aside like a gnat, landing smoothly behind Vegeta as the headless corpses thudded to the dirt. Raditz, not to be outdone, turned to Qiu Yi, the last elite standing. "King Frieza, save me!" Qiu Yi wailed, his plea cut short as Raditz's qigong wave smashed him into oblivion.

Frieza's hoverchair hummed faintly, the only sound in the sudden stillness. His legion was gone—wiped out in minutes—leaving him alone, a polished commander staring down Vegeta's trio and the silent Chiaotzu. His crimson eyes darkened, a storm brewing behind his calm facade. "Oh ho ho, Mr. Vegeta," he said, voice smooth as poison, "I underestimated you. Time to take this seriously." He rose, abandoning the chair, and landed with eerie grace. His body shifted, horns lengthening, frame swelling into a towering, burly second form.

Nappa whistled, impressed. "So that's Frieza without the stroller—big guy's got some muscle!"

Raditz tapped his combat detector. Frieza: 1.2 million (second form). He chuckled nervously, stepping back. "That's beyond us, Nappa—your turn, Vegeta!"

Nappa snorted. "Coward! You're bailing already?"

Raditz shot back, "Oh, brave Nappa, why're you retreating with me then? Scared he'll squash you like on Bihaoyang?"

"I'm keeping an eye on you," Nappa grumbled, "so you don't ditch us again."

Vegeta ignored their bickering, stepping forward, his gaze locked on Frieza. "Your move, Frieza. I'm your opponent now."

Frieza's laugh echoed, sharp and mocking. "Oh ho ho! Brave words, Mr. Vegeta—let's see if you—" His taunt faltered as Vegeta vanished, reappearing inches from his face. The prince's fist crashed into Frieza's jaw like a cannon shot, blood spraying as the tyrant's head snapped back. His massive form hurtled through the air, smashing into the city beyond. High-rises buckled, collapsing in a roar of dust and debris, cloaking Frieza in a gray shroud.

Chiaotzu's cold stare flicked to Vegeta, a silent reprimand. Nappa and Raditz rushed in, waving off tension. "He's got this," Nappa muttered, and Chiaotzu relented, arms crossing as the smoke churned.

A shadow burst from the haze—Frieza, enraged, his body warping again. His third form emerged, a grotesque parody of his prior bulk: elongated skull, spindly limbs, an alien nightmare. "Vegeta," he snarled, "you've grown, you wretched monkey. I can't let you live—any of you!"

Vegeta smirked, unfazed. "Frieza, you're hideous now—worse than ever."

Nappa nodded, grinning. "Yeah, lost the macho vibe. Short and creepy suits you."

Raditz checked his detector. Frieza: 2.5 million (third form). "Short and frustrated, sure, but he's past you now, Vegeta!"

Frieza's composure snapped. "Short and frustrated?! Die, you filth!" A death beam lanced toward Raditz, who yawned mid-dodge. Red energy flared around him—Kaio-ken surging as Renkai's training kicked in. He swatted the beam aside, countering with a qigong wave that slammed Frieza into the ground. The tyrant crashed, a crater blooming beneath him, smoke rising like a shroud. Raditz: 3 million (5x Kaio-ken).

Raditz blinked, stunned. "Did I… kill him?"

Vegeta snorted. "Don't flatter yourself. He's not done—his real power's coming."

The smoke parted with a roar, Frieza erupting forth, his voice a guttural howl. "Unforgivable! Twice wounded by you vermin—you've enraged me!" His body shrank, refining into his final form—small, sleek, exuding menace. "Saiyan monkeys," he sneered, arms wide, "meet the terror of Emperor Frieza. I'll bury you in despair!"

Chiaotzu remained still, a ghost in the chaos. Per Bulma's deal, he'd only step in if Vegeta fell—and with Frieza at this stage, that seemed laughable. His detector hummed softly: Frieza: 60 million (final form, 50%). One hand could end this, but where was the fun in that?

Nappa laughed, undaunted. "Look, he's a little dumpling now! Still short, but less bony."

Raditz gulped, his bravado fading. "Yeah, but that power—it's insane!" His eyes darted to Chiaotzu, calming slightly. Frieza's sleek form belied a strength that dwarfed them all—except their quiet backup.

Vegeta's stance shifted, blood-red Kaio-ken flaring around him. His detector beeped: Vegeta: 2 million (base). With Kaio-ken, he'd climb higher, but not enough—yet. His eyes burned, locked on Frieza, whose smirk faltered into a serious frown. Here was a foe worth his attention, a spark of the old Vegeta reignited.

The ground trembled, dust swirling as their auras clashed. Frieza's confidence held, but a flicker of doubt crept in—Earth was no longer his to toy with.
