After reading a few fanfics, I realized I forgot to do one thing.

Five minutes before sunrise.
Solomon woke up from his meditative state, feeling slightly better. His internal clock told him he had about four minutes and a few seconds before the first rays of sunlight would peek over the horizon.
With a surge of anticipation in his heart, he hurriedly left the building. Instinctively, he used super speed, feeling the chill of the night breeze just before morning. Solomon made sure to take in every moment and sensation, knowing that after this, everything would feel different.
With a powerful leap, he rocketed into the air at astonishing speeds. The clouds parted in his wake as he broke through the first layer of the atmosphere. The brisk breeze that would make an ordinary person shiver felt exhilarating as it brushed against his face.
His heart felt lighter as he performed somersaults and flips in the air. Ever since Solomon arrived in this world, he had been haunted by memories of his past life. Because of this, he had never truly embraced this new existence. Now, suspended in the sky, for the first time enjoying the pure sensation of flying, he felt completely unbound—liberated from all his past burdens.
Solomon accelerated, flying faster and higher. Eventually, he reached a point where it felt like he couldn't ascend any further. Of course, this limit did not apply if he used chaos magic, as flying into space wouldn't be an issue with it.
He briefly contemplated using his magic but decided against it. After enjoying the thrill of flight, he noticed there were only 30 seconds left before the sun would rise.
Turning to face the direction where the sun would appear, Solomon closed his eyes and allowed himself to relax. This brief moment of freedom had made him realize something fundamental.
I WANT TO BE HAPPY TOO.
The first ray of sunlight touched him, and the thin barrier Solomon had sensed earlier shattered completely. For a split second, everything froze. Then, with a sense of gleeful anticipation, his cells began to voraciously absorb the sunlight. Light bent around him, as his body—which usually absorbed sunlight passively—now became akin to a black hole, drawing in every particle of light.
Scarlet energy erupted from every pore as his body rapidly evolved. His DNA rearranged itself, becoming more refined and perfect. Solomon felt the exhilarating surge of power as his solar reserves expanded beyond previous limits. Not only that, but he sensed a connection to something deeper within himself.
A new gene seemed to awaken—a power distinct from both his Kryptonian heritage and chaos magic. Solomon felt this newfound ability mutate and evolve, influenced by the presence of his other powers.
For a brief, fleeting moment, a vision flickered in his mind: an ancient book radiating a sense of incomprehensible power. A man stood, chained to the book, his hands gripping it tightly. The image vanished as quickly as it came, leaving Solomon momentarily bewildered. Deciding not to dwell on it, he resolved to leave it for his future self to figure out—a somewhat ironic decision given what he had just seen.
Solomon soaked in the moment, completely unaware of the visual spectacle he was creating. Below him, in Gotham, countless eyes turned skyward as the once-gray clouds now glowed red, casting an ominous light. The hue matched the color of the mysterious figure who had fought Batman, leaving the city in a state of fearful curiosity.
Among the crowd, one girl looked up, a faint, yet hopeful smile on her face. After seeing and feeling what she felt, a spark of hope ignited in her heart. Something she herself did not know she needed.
Back to Solomon: after a few minutes, his transformation neared completion, the chaotic energy slowly reabsorbed into his body. Silence fell as he floated, his eyes still closed.
Even before opening his eyes, Solomon could feel the difference. The sensation of the air on his skin was more vivid, more intense. He could sense the environment in ways he never had before—his perception stretching across multiple cities.
When he finally opened his eyes, the world appeared transformed. Colors were more vibrant, electromagnetic fields danced in the air, and particles emitted energies he had never noticed before. It was as if he had entered an entirely new reality.
A smile spread across his face as he looked upward, his heart pounding with excitement. Without warning, he shot forward at an almost unimaginable speed, just shy of the speed of light. In an instant, he broke through the atmosphere, gravity having no claim over him.
Suspended in the void of space, he felt his cells continue to greedily absorb not only solar energy but also the natural cosmic energies of the universe. It wasn't the godly energy of divine beings, but rather the fundamental energy that existed everywhere in the cosmos.
As his cells reached their limit, Solomon realized it was time to return to Earth. Before descending, he took a moment to marvel at the vast, star-filled universe stretching endlessly before him. A part of him longed to explore its mysteries, but he knew he wasn't ready yet. There was still work to do on Earth, and his journey here was far from over.
With a small, contented smile, Solomon descended back to Earth, his mind clearer than it had been in a long time.
