Ashly is still on the ground, she watches as Mindy stops smiling "What the fuck is wrong with you? You almost killed me." Ashly says in a tone which was too calm for her own liking. Ashly can't believe she isn't screaming at her, and doesn't seem to be shaking at all. "Do you have some problems inside your head? Of course you do if your first thought was killing me because I was leaving."
"There's nothing wrong with me at all." Mindy says as she grabs her doll and begins to caress it. "I just hate broken things and you're one of them. You're lucky that I want to fix you or else I would of thrown it much lower than that. I can sense your intentions Ashly, not exactly what you're thinking, but I have a big idea on it. If you're thinking of killing me, I could sense it, the bloodlust."
"What are you talking about?" Ashly says as she begins to slowly stand up. "There is no way you know anything that happens in my head."
"Of course I do, I can sense it very well." Mindy then drops the doll to the ground. "Ashly, your mind is thinking about it right, you want to kill me badly. I know that because I can sense this thing I call your tendencies ."
"You're one crazy girl if I say so, I meet one girl who wants me dead, but she doesn't have the guts to do what you're doing." Ashly says "There is no point with secrets right? You know I'm already planning to run away from you."
"Exactly, I have a suspicion you are going to tell the others about this. Don't try it Ashly, I'm much faster that you think. I like keeping some things a secret in case something like this happens." Mindy says "If you run now you will lose to me. Unlike you who will get lost or run into something, I know this forest, especially this section so I know every shortcut."
"Don't worry Ashly, I want to get rid of your tendencies I promise. This isn't a lie, I truly want to fix you. I want to turn you somewhat [Normal] even if it means I lose the only friend in the process." Mindy says with a much sadder face, her eyes seems to be tearing up by saying that. "I do want to help you as a friend." Mindy says in a more softer and shyer tone, her cheeks are a bit flustered.
"So you're a weirdo, does that mean that the people don't mind you being by yourself a lot?" Ashly says "Do they get worried about you or something?"
"They do, they want to help me but I don't need help. I'm a normal person who can see what they can't, and they believe I'm not normal because of it." Mindy says "I'm a normal girl alright, they and I aren't any different." Mindy then takes a deep breath as she was starting to loose her composure. "Well if I'm honest, sometimes I like to disappear into the first for three days. At first they searched for me desperately, but after a few months of doing this they stopped. They assumed I will always return, they began to trust me when I would return after three days."
"This little runaway for me is like a vacation, I'm all alone so I can kill as many squirrels as I want without being punished." Mindy says "I can also leave them behind if I want, but that's not what a normal person does unless I eat them."
"Yeah well then you must know how much I am going to hurt you when you are in my range." Ashly says as she begins to take deep breaths. "Tell me, have you sensed that from me, and how I'm going to run away?" She asked and Mindy nods enthusiastically ."Very well then, I guess I will have to do something about it."
Ashly then turns around and begins to run as fast as she can, Mindy begins to follow her from a distance. As she ran Mindy began to catch up, but kept the same distance, Ashly turned around and stopped, but Mindy also stopped. "Don't have the guts to get to close or is it because you're smart?" Ashly says taunting Mindy.
"You're stupid Ashly, I know exactly what you're thinking. You're planning for me to get some momentum, and then your going to stop so that you could hurt me." Mindy said "Where you stopped, there is mud, but I knew about it so I didn't step on it. I'm not dumb and I can think ahead."
"Well I don't care what you think because if we keep this on. I believe I will get lucky and get back to the others before you stop me" Ashly says "I may not be smart like you, but one things for sure, I make sure my enemies regret being smarter than me."
Mindy then blushes harder, "You think I'm smart." she says in a timid voice, she is now covering her face with her hands ."I'm so happy you think of me that way, I didn't know how to say this but Ashely." Mindy take a dramatically long pause before for continuing. "I like you, I mean it as a lot of liking. Since I first saw you I felt this beating in my heart and it's love. Ashly please be my first love." Ashly is completely surprised by this, and makes a disgusted face.
"If you try to kill me in anyway they will know it's you. Ashly no matter what method you use, they will get angry and I believe they will kill you." Mindy says "I know you want to kill me, but I'm warning you as I love you so much."
"Sorry but I'm not interest in any girl who is crazy." Ashly says "You're messing with me aren't ya? You have so many advantages yet you don't try anything."
"Well you don't have any options either, what ever you do will go against you." Mindy says "They all don't like you, Silas doesn't hate you just that he is more tolerable. No one will believe you except for that boy, your only chance is being kicked out."
"Listen I don't know what you're trying to accomplish, but don't try to frame me or whatever." Ashly says, she is feeling tired already. This girl is crazy yet it feels like she is wast their time. "Fine listen, I'll let you do your experiment on me if you let me go afterwords. That's a fair deal right? Don't try to hurt me, and I won't hurt you."
Mindy then makes a disappointed face. "Don't lie to me, I can tell you don't mean it." Mindy then begins to cry softly. "I don't like people who lie to me, it makes it feel like I'm not worth their time. I can tell you're holding back, was it because that boy would leave you if you showed your true self?" Mindy then wipes her tears. "Is that enough for you to not let yourself go wild? That's a good sign because I can help you."
"Well I may not be smart, but I definitely know what keeps me alive. I'm not letting the only person who will help me go, I'll bite my tongue if it means he stays near me." Ashly says "You're not that person, if you were I would've put on a smile until you weren't useful to me anymore."
"Well that's not something you should be thinking Ashly. Don't do that, it'll only cause you trouble, for you and that boy." Mindy says as she takes a step back from Ashly, Mindy shakes her head at Ashly. Ashly cracks her knuckles and runs directly at Mindy, Mindy runs backwards. "I see, you think I can't run as fast backwards." Ashly stays quiet, and they run in random directions, Mindy is a bit surprised by how agile Ashly is.
Ashly seems to be unshakable, Mindy can't lose her yet. Ashly begins to run as fast as she can which causes Mindy to turn around. As Mindy turns around making her back face Ashly, Ashly then kicks a rock at her. The rock hits Mindy's head causing her to fall to the ground, in an instance Ashly right foot is on top of Mindy's neck "Don't move Mindy, I can add as much pressure as I want." Ashly says.
"Sure…you…can." Mindy says as Ashly begins to add pressure to her neck. "Trying… to choke me…right?" This is all she can say as Ashly has begun to block her respiratory track. Mindy doesn't seem to be scared or frustrated at this moment. Instead she seems to be a bit happy, maybe it's because she is loosing oxygen.
"Listen to me Mindy, I won't kill you but I will make you go unconscious. It's the least lethal method I can use at the moment. Tell me did you even attempt to run from me, did you want me to catch you? It seems that you were much slower running once you were facing away than when you were chasing me." Ashly keeps on adding pressure slowly. "Funny how something's are easy to understand right? You lost on purpose, but that's fine with me. I'll ask Lucas and we are going, we aren't staying like you hoped or what ever was in your mind."
Mindy's face begins to turn into what Ashly figures is anger with what consciousness she had left. Mindy grabs Ashly's foot and begins to slowly lift it up. Ashly tries to add more force but it's no use. "I'm…dis-dissatisfied with your attitude, you're being so arrogant just now. You should drop that or else it will cause you your life Ashly." Mindy pushes Ashly with force. "You assumed I was weaker than you, you assumed I was just toying with you with out any form of thinking. The only thing you got correct was guessing that I was being slow on purpose."
"Well yeah it's not to surprising since you were calm " Ashly says as she stares down Mindy "I did underestimate you, I know what I have to do nowx" Ashly then reaches into her pocketsx "I didn't want this, but I don't have a choice anymore."
Mindy is taking deep breaths and holding onto her neck. "Yeah I can sense dark thoughts inside you, I took a chance you wanted to kill me." Mindy's voice is a bit raspy and it hurts, her neck. Mindy can't run at the moment, she is to lightheaded. "Do I scare you Ashly? Don't answer that because you don't seem scared of me. What I can tell is that you're uncomfortable with how I act, I'm so new to you right? The way I play with you, probably the first person who doesn't feel like killing you doing it for the name of love."
Ashly begins to walk to Mindy who is obviously letting her get close. "Mindy I hate to do this, but you just won't let me have any other choice." Ashly pulls out a decently short metal rod. "I stole this from someone, he would love to use it so I know how dangerous it is. Never thought I would need it, but there's always a first for everything." Mindy knows she wants to knock her out without killing her, and as soon as Ashly gets closer Mindy pulls out a small knife and swings at Ashly.
Ashly backs away and instinctively swings the metal rod at Mindy. The rod hits her nose breaking it with a nasty crack. "Fine, if you're leaving me then I'll kill you. I can't let you live if you're not going to love me." Mindy then gets closer and tries to cut Ashly's left arm. Ashly steps on mud causing her to slip a bit, Ashly sees Mindy looking very dissapointed at this. "I know this forest so I will win this, don't attempt to stall the inevitab-" Mindy is cut off as Ashly has slit her throat. Mindy sees Ashly with a long knife "Wh-what." Mindy falls to the ground.
"I told you I didn't want to do this." Ashly looks at Mindy who is holding her neck, she seems to be bleeding hard. "What? Did you think I was talking about this thing?" Ashly points to the metal rod. "I just picked it up somewhere, who uses this as a weapon anyways." Ashly begins to mock Mindy. "If you can only sense my intentions then you must be surprised about me killing you right? I didn't think I could have done this, it was a huge risk but it worked. Can't you believe it, this is the first time I suppressed my killing intent."
Mindy begins to gag a bit, her blood seems to be entering her mouth. "G-Go-Good for you." Mindy says which Ashly is surprised by the fact she can still talk. "Didn't cut deep enoughz" Mindy spits out blood, you're right that you were able to suppress it, but this will cost you heavily."
"Yeah that's true, but you did say you disappear for three days right? That's how much time I have before I get caught, enough to get what I need to be honest." Ashly says as she grabs a tissue "This will be bloody so for the moment I'll use your house to clean this mess up".
"You're good Ashly, those tendencies of yours will get your friend killed. You will survive as it causes you to act first, better to be labeled a murderer and still be sliced right? That boy has none so he will hesitate more often, he is traumatized so he will die sooner than most. I give him less that a year to live before his life ends."
"You knew that I was always planning to kill you, was it when I asked when you disappear?" Mindy nods her head. "Ah so you wanted me to kill you then, was everything else you said a lie?" Mindy nods again. "That's funny, I guess you hated me since we meet then?"
"Not true, I do love you. I wanted you to do this because you were getting a bit to soft, faster than I wanted at least. Your tendencies are the only reason you're alive, keep it that way because I don't want you dead."
"Fine, I'll keep that in mind but your house will be your tomb for the moment." Ashly then begins to drag Mindy's body back to the cabin. "Just die already, you disgust me." Ashly eventually brings her body inside, Ashly is now in a predicament.
