The atmosphere in the dining room at Silver Moon Pack was silent again due to the awkwardness they felt. This time, it wasn't because Val gave off an unpleasant aura. No. But because her daughter continued to ignore her parents' words.
Her pale face just stared blankly at the glass filled with blood for her. Only she and her mother drank the thick liquid. At the dining table, where her twins and father ate food like most people.
"Triqi-"
Elyna's words were cut off when Triqi suddenly took the food closest to her and forced it all into her small mouth. Her eyes rounded, before her face turned red and made everyone there worried.
"Take that food out, Triqi!"
Valan, who was sitting next to Triqi, immediately patted Triqi's back a little hard, intending to make the child spit it out. However, Triqi slapped the hand away roughly. Her teary eyes stare at her parents, who got up from their seats to approach her. She continued to use her mouth to chew on the disgusting things in her mouth. Her hands shook more and more as time went on.
"Take it out, Triqi!" Val ordered firmly. The child, without his will, immediately vomited the food in his mouth. Triqi coughed loudly. The texture of the food was disgusting. Since childhood, Triqi did not understand why he could not consume anything other than blood.
In the dining room, there was only the sound of Triqi's cough filling the silence in that place. Hera and Jake, who had now replaced their parents at Silver Moon Pack, looked at each other, wanting to help but confused. Triqi did not like it when they touched her. In fact, since growing up, Triqi did not allow anyone to touch her other than Valan.
"Sob, I hate you guys!"
Their attention was again diverted when Triqi raised her voice and tried to leave the dining room. But the effect of Val's power was still terrible. Triqi immediately fell from her chair if only Elyna had not immediately held her. Triqi cried weakly, trying to push Elyna away with her exhausted strength. Val also looked guilty for using his powers on his daughter. But if he didn't, Triqi could have choked from forcing herself to eat something she wasn't used to.

Triqi reflexively closed her eyes when someone threw sand at her face. She was playing with her powers under a shady tree because she wasn't allowed to join gym class. Triqi attended the morning class. Of course, she couldn't be exposed to sunlight.
Triqi never bothered anyone, but people - especially those from the werewolf race - always looked for trouble with her. Triqi's round eyes were glassy. She tried to get rid of the pain from the sand mixed with stones that hit her face.
"Why do night creatures like you feel so comfortable in this school?! Go to the graveyard! Or sleep until you die in a coffin!"
One of the little kids mocked and laughed with his friends. They were werewolf kids from another place. That's why they dared to mock Triqi, who was the only vampire in the school.
"Did you know? Even those humans labeled you an illegitimate child! You don't look like your father or mother. You're even looking very different from your twin brother!"
"Of course, she's different. Her mother bonded with a vampire while having sex with her mate."
"Yuck! They're a disgrace to the werewolf race! Your mother and father are both disgusting!"

Triqi covered her ears while sobbing loudly. The wind blew her red hoodie, showing her beautiful night-dark hair.
The red face slowly looked up, revealing bright red irises that looked scary.
"DON'T INSULT MY PARENTS!" Triqi shouted bravely. The children were thrown far away by Triqi's scream. Many of their bones were also broken due to Triqi's blood control.
"You guys are evil! My parents are good people! Sob, you guys are the lowly ones!"

Triqi cried again so loudly that she almost killed someone again. Triqi hurriedly held back her strength. However, the young werewolves used that opportunity to beat Triqi hard.
"What are you guys doing there?!"

As soon as someone heard the commotion they made, they immediately ran away, leaving Triqi groaning in pain. Triqi saw that it was her teacher who found her. Triqi's face turned pale. She knew. Because her school was managed by Val, what was happening would soon reach his ears.
Triqi didn't want that. Therefore, she ran to get away from that place. She kept running aimlessly until finally, Triqi stopped at the park she had visited with Valan.
The park was their secret place. Its location far from the main road made the park rarely visited by people. Triqi liked that park. Every time her skin started to blister because she had been in the sun too long, she would hide there until Valan found her.
That day was the same. After running away, Triqi arrived at the park and started crying while sitting in the deserted slide hallway. Triqi held her clothes tightly. She hated being different from the others. Triqi wanted to be normal like Valan. She wanted to play in the sun and eat various foods that looked beautiful.
Unfortunately, Triqi was always different from the others. Even her powers sometimes made it difficult for her extended family to help her.
Not to mention, she could only drink human blood. That didn't happen to other vampires. Throughout the history of the vampire race, there were only a few vampire descendants who couldn't consume anything other than human blood. Most of them would grow up to be merciless vampires. That was why her family was always worried. Triqi thought it was because they were afraid that Triqi would become a blood-sucking monster who would kill every human she found.
Slowly, Triqi hugged herself even more. She sat leaning against the plastic hallway and began to close her eyes.
It seemed like this time too, she would have to sleep in that place until Valan picked her up.
