"You didn't come here to see if I was okay?" I asked again, feeling something dark and bitter twist inside me.


I let out a low, humorless laugh. "Oh… wow."


I felt my nails dig into my palm. "You came here to find out what happened that night. Because you want to know why Selene isn't waking up."


Damian still didn't say anything. But he didn't have to.


My teeth clenched. Even now, even after everything, he still couldn't let that bitch go.
