"This the room?" Isaac asks me while pointing at room 061.
"Yes."
"It better be." Another man grasped my shoulder. The force he puts in to squeeze my shoulders showed his intentions to threaten me.
"It is." I reassured him.
He looked like a fine gentleman unlike Isaac, and he's ridiculously tall, 6'6 at least, making him quite intimidating.
I had to tilt my head all the way up to see his nametag above his head, it read "Liam Miller".
Isaac gestured a couple men in black to the door, and in a coordinated manner, three men kicks the door in unison opening it by force.
As we've planned, they're not in the room, but left the glass door open, empty lemonade cans on the floor, the dead original inhabitant and a cloak that hides nametags on the balcony.
Isaac rushes in, didn't see the dead body or signs of life, realises there's no one and turned back to condemn me.
"You bast-" but before he could finish insulting me, Miller pushed him aside and out to the balcony.
He looked to the right and saw Kenneth Spears on the balcony at the far opposite of the building looking back in fear, without his cloak on.
"Left this?" Miller picked up the cloak on the balcony and waved it to mock Kenneth.
Eleanor reveals her face for a second to pull Kenneth into the apartment they were now in, seeing Eleanor, Miller were frustrated.
"It's the same goddamn strategy Isaac, you fell for it again." He pushes the cloak onto Isaac as if Isaac's only there to carry his stuff.
"Well, you fell for it too!"
"No time to argue, far right side everyone!" Miller commands.
By the time all men from Living Cemetery reaches the stairwell, they're already long gone, leaving two men beaten up on the ground floor of the right stairwell, they were stationed there previously to keep guard.
"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!" Isaac rants while kicking the air.
"Tsk, well, you didn't lie." Miller turned to me and said.
"I told you, I don't trust them anymore."
"One of them is literally your uncle!" Isaac yelled with his face all red from the anger.
"I don't agree with his decision to stick with Shockwave, so I betrayed him and came to you..." I made myself look as guilty as possible, as if showing remorse for betraying my uncle.
"You're crazy alright, but I guess you indeed didn't lie..." Isaac says reluctantly, with the face of a seven-year-old admitting they hit the vase while playing football.
"You're still important for this mission, you've been in contact with our target, you're coming with us." Miller told me.
Everything's going according to my plan, I'll help them but won't join their alliance because The Reaper is busy with the tournament.
And when I meet the head of this mission, the one in charge of the hunt, who is most likely this 'GPS' individual, I'll propose the possibility of my team hiding in the game lobby.
I've been in the same room with them, I can fabricate a lie like I've heard their plan of hiding in the game lobby building.
That place is massive, I'll request for our search team to split up.
With less people around me, I can ask them to search a specific corridor, one where I had planted my four teammates.
As we pass by, they ambush the men following me.
The game lobby is a maze of a building, the rest of the search team won't know mine was ambushed, that's when all five of us escape the building.
Of course, even after that, we will still be hunted, but at least we got more chances of evading attacks now than when we're surrounded in block #111.
"Okay." I responded to Miller, he looks like someone with authority, maybe he's the head of this mission instead of GPS.
"I'd say we bring him to GPS first, she'll know what to do." Miller suggests to Isaac, who was still very much sulking.
Ah, as expected, Miller's not the head of the mission, it's a familiar name, GPS, and it's a she, I would've expected a super stalker that knows most player's apartment location to be a creepy he with overgrown facial hair and obesity and such.
Or maybe that's just the stereotype for stalkers.
"Why do you trust her so much?" Isaac responds.
"Alright, you follow us." Miller ignored Isaac, turned to me and ordered in a strict tone.
I was surrounded by their men in black the entire journey to GPS, and it was a very long journey, I almost suffocated on the way.
Eventually we reached a pub of some sorts, the streets outside was unusually empty, the place stinks with alcohol, but it looks as pretty as the rest of the buildings in the shopping district with the rustic vibes.
As soon as I stepped inside, aw man this sucks.
It's either thugs that looks smug and hostile, or drug addicts going at it. Only acceptable individual in the bar was the well dressed bartender preparing cocktails.
It was very dirty inside too, spilled booze on the ground, plastic packets and empty bottles scattered all over the place.
All that with the poor lighting and eerie red theme of the bar makes this place insufferable for me.
But well, I have no choice, still surrounded by men in black, I was forced to walk in deeper and deeper into the bar.
Eventually we stopped at a lounge in the bar, with a literal bodybuilder in suit guarding it's entrance.
"GPS only allows three visitors at the same time." Miller says to Isaac.
"Me, you and the kid then." Isaac suggests.
"Sure." Miller then pulls me out of the circle of men in black.
He nodded to the guard of the lounge, the guarded nodded back in response and stepped aside to allow our entrance.
What I saw inside the lounge certainly wasn't within my expectations.
"Who is this?"
The one who asked, almost immediately as we enter the lounge, is a little girl that doesn't even look like she's hit puberty.
In front on her two sides are two more giants in three piece suits, they also had sunglasses on as if to conceal their faces, their nametags are literally right above them though.
Everything about those two screams bodyguards, so GPS must be...the little girl who's back is against us?
I couldn't see her face as she was facing the other way, all I could see was her long black hair and her outfit being a childish pink dress.
She also had an adorable bat plush doll in her left arm, is she really supposed to be the expert stalker? She looks just like an ordinary eleven-year-old though?
I guess there is one thing strange about her, she's not wearing a cloak, yet I can't see her nametag, that means I can't ask earpiece for her profile, that's annoying.
"Sean Anthony, from the current alliance of Shockwave." Miller answered.
"Why is he here?" She asked again, with her back still against us.
She was sat on a long red cushioned bench, and she seemed to be scribbling with crayons on a pile of paper.
"He decided to take up my offer to join Living Cemetery instead of hanging with Shockwave, he revealed the exact room of which Shockwave was hiding." Isaac answered.
"Then why isn't Shockwave here?" Her voice lacked emotions, it's like talking to the earpiece if the earpiece had a cute childlike girly voice.
"They escaped, through the balconies, again." Miller said while giving Isaac a side eye, Isaac responded with an annoyed tsk.
"Sean Anthony...I know you, they were in your apartment in block #111 weren't they?" She asked.
"Yes, yes they were."
"Can I see your keys?"
Perhaps I underestimated her, she is very sharp. Luckily I prepared for this scenario, I asked Ghostdoctor for the key to room 061 beforehand.
"Here."
I pulled it out of my pocket but she didn't move a muscle, instead Isaac was the one to confirm the room number on my key.
"Yep, not fake, that's exactly the room we raided." He said to GPS.
GPS was still doodling, she switched her blue crayon to a red crayon before asking,
"You want to join Living Cemetery?"
"I do, after reconsidering, it's better to be in this alliance than to be in my uncle's. Since he recruited Shockwave, everything's been going downhill."
"He recruited Shockwave? It's fair to assume he's the leader of your former alliance then, why did he allow you to leave?"
Shit I've underestimated her, she's sharp, I told Isaac and Miller that I was the leader, and my point of my uncle recruiting Shockwave contradicts that.
"No, I've always been the leader-"
"Why did you allow Shockwave in?" Before I could even finish my explanation, she asked me forcefully.
"I didn't know she would bring so much trouble, my uncle told me she'd be an asset in our alliance because she's the second best player in-game, but he never told me she's wanted by Living Cemetery.
I only found that out after I allowed her to join, I'm a relatively new player, so I don't know her history at the start."
This lie should be good enough, it was improvised so deep down, I'm still incredibly nervous right now.
I didn't expect to be nearly cornered by a little girl, she's much more intelligent than I would've expected.
"And after you found out, you realised it's disadvantages, disagreed with Frostbite, and left the alliance to join Living Cemetery.
You can freely leave, you're the previous leader of the alliance after all."
"Yes, yes that's it."
She just keeps scribbling with her back against us, as if it's a trivial conversation we're having.
"Sean Anthony, we do not need you, you're useless to us, you don't have to participate in this mission, feel free to watch and enjoy the ongoing tournament instead." She said after a brief pause of silence.
Eh? I'm free to go? I don't need to help with the mission? I can just go back to my alliance then? Eh?
