Chapter 127 - Warhammer: Lord of the Endless Monster Horde [127]

This machine spirit was simply too incredible for them—it could achieve so many designs they had long dreamed of but never accomplished before.

"My Ultra Mobile armor, no matter the type, can awaken this kind of machine soul. Its combat power will increase by at least 1 to 2 times, and it doesn't require any modifications," Zett began his boundless daydreaming.

"And my Ultraman Warrior," Salome chimed in.

"And my Zetton II. Or, we could even build an Ultra Zetton or other monsters," Balt joined the discussion.

The three top scientists fell into a frenzy of discussion.

Seeing this harmonious scene, Rhodes felt a wave of relief. The day was nearly perfect—only one small issue marred it.

"Seriously, Kania, what kind of nonsense did you imagine this time?!"

This ridiculous misunderstanding landed squarely on Rhodes' shoulders, making him utterly speechless and frustrated.

"This matter needs to be resolved quickly," Rhodes thought, "to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings." But for now, he needed to deal with the issue of the Ork flesh. Once that was done, he could figure out how to handle Kania.

"It seems you like this machine spirit concept," Rhodes said aloud.

"Master, you're back! We were just discussing the machine spirit and came up with many new ideas," Zett replied.

"Master! You seem to have something on your mind," Salome asked.

"By the way, Master, you mentioned before you'd bring us a surprise when you returned. What is it?" Balt asked eagerly.

"Let's talk about the surprise first," Rhodes said as he pulled out a jar containing a green chunk of flesh. "This little jar of green meat is from a truly miraculous species. It's called an OrK. Their WAAAGH energy field is just as magical as you can imagine."

Rhodes placed the jar of OrK flesh in front of the three top scientists and began explaining in detail the various characteristics of the OrK species, especially the bug-like nature of their "I reckon it'll work" ability.

"Asexual reproduction? A combination of both plants and animals?"

"A naturally combative species, with nearly infinite rapid reproduction capabilities?"

"A species that, when gathered in large numbers and believing in something, can make that belief come true?"

"Master! If what you're saying is true, then this species could surpass even the Land of Light in power! They shouldn't be confined to a small galaxy—they should have conquered the entire universe by now!" Salome exclaimed after thinking for a moment.

With such incredible abilities, the Orks should, in theory, be able to land on a planet and completely overrun it within days or months. They could then reproduce and expand endlessly. Coupled with their unique evolutionary abilities, ruling the universe would only be a matter of time.

"WAAAGH energy is indeed amazing. But the more difficult a task, the more Orks are needed. It's not something that comes from nothing," Rhodes explained. "Most importantly, this species has a growth cap. Once they hit this limit, they stop growing. They can't infinitely evolve."

"Although this species is cunning, despicable, and shameless, they're not very united. Without a strong opponent, they'll start fighting amongst themselves. So, despite their incredible abilities, they've never reached the critical mass needed to dominate," Rhodes continued.

Every time they approached sufficient numbers, something unexpected always occurred—such as turning on each other and inexplicably starting a fight.

"WAAAGH energy is magical, but it can't directly twist the fabric of reality. It's not like the Reality Stone. It merely provides bug-like superpowers, enabling them to create bizarre things," Rhodes explained.

"So, Master, you're saying this species was created by an ancient race called the Old Ones as a weapon of war, and they later degenerated into this warlike species?" Zett asked.

"Exactly. The Old Ones were truly extraordinary, capable of creating such a miraculous species," Rhodes replied.

"Their original forms were about ten meters tall, equipped with powerful power armor, and their combat strength rivaled that of ordinary Primarchs. If they underwent prolonged warfare, they might evolve back into their original state. But the chances of that happening are slim," Rhodes added.

In the King of Collectibles' collection room, there was a preserved ancient Krork Ork—standing 12 meters tall, clad in advanced power armor, with combat strength comparable to a Primarch. It was one of the King of Collectibles' most prized possessions.

"This race has high strategic value, but with all due respect, Master, it currently has no research value." Zett shook his head as he spoke.

"Oh? Why do you say that?" Rhodes asked, somewhat surprised.

"Master, please allow me to explain. First of all, this race is an artificial one; it wasn't naturally evolved.

Therefore, whoever created them must have set very strict genetic codes within their DNA. Otherwise, they would have already been enslaved by other races.

I estimate that cracking their genetic code alone would be an extremely difficult challenge.

If we can't decode their genetic sequence, then there's no way to truly control this race.

And if we are capable of cracking their genetic sequence, that would mean our technological level has already surpassed that of the Ultra-Ancient Giants of Light.

In that case, there would be no need to pursue this ork population at all."

Zett explained.

Balt and Salome nodded in agreement.

If the Orks were a naturally evolved race, they would be ecstatic to begin research.

But if they were artificially created, then there was no need to study them.

Simply put, if they are weaker than the Ultra-Ancient Giants of Light, their genetic code cannot be cracked.

If they were stronger, we wouldn't need this race at all.

Hearing this, Rhodes was at a loss for words. Did this mean the happiest race in the entire universe was destined to have no connection with him?

Their only practical use would be generating recharge currency for him.

The recharge currency produced by these Orks was about the same as that of ordinary Tyrran bugs.

However, their ancient juggernaut-class warships couldn't outproduce the bio-ships of the bug nests.

"Master, if you want to utilize the power of these Orks, I do have a shortcut you can try." Salome's eyes darted around as she spoke.

"Oh? Tell me your method," Rhodes asked.

"Master, Reionics can control monsters. We could consider using that approach."

Hearing this, Rhodes was left speechless. If he had access to Reionics' methods, he would have already used them! The problem was, he didn't have them!

"Don't worry, Master, I haven't finished yet. There is still another way.

Using this monster capsule, you can select one Ork, and then use the capsule to control it. Afterward, you can cultivate it into a war boss.

By utilizing this Ork warlord under your control, you can then dominate the other Orks. This is a very effective method." Salome explained.

If it's impossible to control the entire population, controlling a single individual and letting them govern a portion of the population is still feasible.

The monster capsule was perfectly suited for this task, and it could also enhance the monster's combat power.

"Master, with our existing technology, we can further enhance your Ork warlord.

For example, once you summon the Yapool, we can use their ultra-beast synthesizing machines.

We could infuse the Ork warlord with dimensional energy or other special materials to make it stronger and give it a monster-like form." Balt suggested.

"That could work! We could cultivate our own Ork warlord.

But the problem is, the monster capsule hasn't been fully cracked yet! Looks like we'll need to wait a little while." Rhodes replied.

Good things take time. No rush—it could be done slowly. At least there was hope.

The thought of cultivating a monster-class Ork warlord made Rhodes a little excited.

"Master, it can be done now. The capsule you use to contain Miclas could be swapped for another one.

Then, give that capsule to us. We'll modify it and use it to capture a mature Ork," Balt suggested.

Miclas' monster capsule was partly kept in their lab for research, and one of them had no summoning time limit.

Although it couldn't enhance the monster's combat power, it was still fully functional. They could use this capsule to house Miclas, then modify the current capsule Miclas was using to contain an Ork.

"Is that even possible? Didn't you say the monster capsules haven't been cracked yet?"

"Master, you need to understand one thing. While we currently can't reproduce the monster capsules, the ones you gave us are fully unlocked with no security restrictions.

This allows us to analyze their core structure.

It's like giving Miclas a new house to live in and freeing up the old one for another creature to occupy.

This can be done very easily. The strongest capsule currently being used by Miclas can increase a monster's combat power.

If you use it to house an Ork, the results would be perfect." Balt explained.

"Not bad! I'll use this monster capsule to contain an Ork and cultivate it into a warlord," Rhodes decided.

"Wait a minute, you two. Have you overlooked a very serious issue?" Zett snorted coldly.

"What do you mean?" Balt and Salome both turned to look at Zett.

"Think about it! Master just mentioned earlier—

This race has its deity. We'll need to figure out a way to bypass that obstacle first."
