A couple of days later...
[Your overall combat power has risen to Qi Transforming 3rd Stage!]
Nie Yong stood in the High Heaven Pavilion training grounds, sweat glistening on his bare torso as his fists cut through the air in practiced strikes. His breath came steadily, his body pulsing with Yang Qi and elemental heat. With a final exhale, he relaxed his stance and muttered under his breath.
"Status Window."
With a soft chime, a translucent virtual panel appeared before him, tall and shimmering like a mirror of information.

Nie Yong grinned to himself. "I'm really too OP…"
Just two weeks of effort, and nearly all his skill levels had jumped.
Copying Cheng Shao Feng, Su Mu, Hu Mei'er, and Lan Chu Die's abilities had given him more tools than he knew what to do with.
Especially Su Mu's Yang Breathing Secret Art—after merging it with his own True Heart of Yang Secret Art, the True Yang Essence Art had been born.
His lungs now acted as auxiliary dantians like his heart. With each breath, they pulled in ambient Yang Qi, continuously replenishing his reserves. It wasn't a huge amount, but over time, it added up.
He glanced down at the 'Seduce' skill and smirked. "Heh. Thanks, Mei'er."
Even at level one, it worked better than he expected. Whether consciously or not, people were more drawn to him. Their eyes lingered a little longer. Their guards lowered a little faster.
As for the other martial skills, they were all strong enough on their own, so he hadn't gotten around to merging them yet. And training them all simultaneously was already too tiring, imagine even having to train more complicated versions at the same time? Crazy! That's why he decided that, from now on, he would firstly master the martial skills entirely before merging them with others.
"Okay, I think I've leveled up my skills enough now," Nie Yong said, wiping the sweat off his forehead and glancing at the sunlit sky. "I should head to the Coiling Dragon Stream to cultivate a bit—"
"Hey, senior brother Nie!"
A voice from behind cut him off. Nie Yong turned and saw Su Mu approaching with his usual group of friends. Su Mu held a bottle behind his back, a grin on his face.
"Oh, junior brother Su. What brings you here?" Nie Yong asked.
Su Mu brought the bottle into view. "Well, we wanted to thank you for saving us the other day." The rest of his group nodded earnestly.
"Ah, well..." Nie Yong stretched lazily, feeling the burn of training in his muscles. "I guess a little break wouldn't hurt me..."
...
An hour later…
They sat together in the middle of the nearby forest clearing, surrounded by dappled sunlight and the gentle rustle of leaves. The bottle had been passed around several times. Nie Yong, completely red-faced, was sprawled out with a goofy smile.
"So, senior brother Nie..." Su Mu leaned in a little, lowering his voice and glancing around. "Is what the rumors say... true?"
"W-What?" Nie Yong slurred, blinking slowly. "R-rumors?"
Su Mu scratched his cheek awkwardly. "You see... people heard someone... uh... dual cultivating around here the other day. And then... they saw you and Hu Mei'er come out of the woods not long after..."
Nie Yong blinked, his drunken mind barely processing it before he shouted, "Oh, me and Hu Mei'er?!"
The others flinched. Su Mu hurriedly waved his hands. "Ssh! Senior brother, please don't—"
"Yeah! I fucked her!" Nie Yong suddenly yelled, throwing his hands up like he was making an announcement to the heavens.
Su Mu and his group instantly turned bright red.
"Senior brother—!"
"Her body was so perfect!" Nie Yong blurted out, still somehow holding the bottle like a war trophy. "A-And so tight! The w-way she clenched around my c—"
"Shh!!" Su Mu lunged forward and slapped his hand over Nie Yong's mouth, his heart nearly stopping. "Senior brother, it's bright daytime!"
Nie Yong mumbled indignantly behind the hand while still trying to drink.
Su Mu sighed. 'Why did I bring alcohol…?'
...
A couple of minutes later…
One of Su Mu's friends scooted a bit closer to Nie Yong and extended a hand. "I'm Zhang San."
The others followed, eager to introduce themselves now that the mood had mellowed a bit.
"I'm Lin Yun Tian."
"Zhou Huo."
"The name's Li Shi."
"Wang Li."
Nie Yong blinked at them all, trying his best to focus. Still quite drunk, but thankfully not shouting anymore, he grinned widely and gave them a sloppy salute.
"It's a pleasure to meet you alllll, my junior brazzers!"
Everyone froze.
Su Mu tilted his head, confused, a grin tugging at his lips. "Brazzers?" he repeated inwardly. "Did he mean... brothers?"
The group exchanged glances, then suddenly burst out laughing.
Nie Yong hiccuped and gave them a thumbs up, clearly proud of his choice of words.
Su Mu stood up, dusting himself off. "Alright, alright. How about we take a walk to the Black Wind Marketplace?" he suggested. "Maybe we'll even find something good!"
"Marketplace?" Nie Yong's eyes lit up. "I want spicy grilled meat!"
To be continued...
