The room was brightly lit, shadows flickering as the light flickered, Elisa stood before the mirror, transfixed by the sight of her own reflection, her sinister and alluring version looked indefferent and cold, one that made Rosemary"s heart race with both fear and curiosity.
"Ha-ha-ha…" The laughter echoed in the room, each sound an echo of a manic delight.
"I am you, and you are me. But I am a better version of us. As for what l want is myself without you."
" Hahaha.." she laughed.
Rosemary inside the mirror, was so confused, she didn't know what was going on. Her eyes were wide open yet she searched for what to say but was blank. She took a deep breath , then bothered courage and said.
They were two sides of the same coin; one gentle and afraid, the other devilishly confident. But now, face to face, the distinction felt grotesquely blurred.
Elisa, with her sharp smile and intense gaze, seemed to radiate power and control as she said.
