Isolde stood in the middle of the ruins clearing, the air still crackling from the thunderous descent of the unknown being. The broken pillars crumbled gently now, as if whispering secrets from above. She turned to Wulf, her face still carrying traces of awe and worry.
"What are we going to do with this... revelation?" she asked, her voice steady but uncertain.
Wulf's eyes narrowed as he looked toward the empty sky where the so-called angel had vanished. "Was it really an angel you saw?" he asked.
Isolde blinked at him. "You didn't see it? The wings, the radiance—he struck Satanis down like it was nothing!"
Wulf hesitated, then sighed. "No... I didn't see anything. Not clearly, anyway. Isolde... my sight's nearly gone. I've been losing it for some time now. Soon, I might go completely blind."
Isolde stared at him, eyes wide. She took a step closer, softening. "That's why... you've been hesitating sometimes. Why you rely so much on your instincts."
