When Helena used to imagine being reunited with Romeo, she envisioned it to have a lot of arguing, some fighting, and sex, lots and lots of make-up sex.
Life didn't always go as planned, so with the chaos of everything around them, all Helena could recall was being in Romeo's arms as he took them home.
As he placed her down on her bed, he pulled her close as they both let sleep take them.
Helena woke up the next day, refreshed and full of energy. As she reached over, she was surprised to find the spot next to her empty.
She quickly sat up, worried that Romeo had decided to sleep elsewhere.
"Shhh, little boy," she heard Romeo's soft whisper. "Don't cry, your mama needs her rest."
Helena heard her son's soft whimpers before he fell asleep again.
"Hey," Helena greeted.
She winced. She sounded just as bad as she felt.
"Hey, Helena," Romeo said as he walked over with their son on his bare chest. "Drink some water."
