The force of the impact shook the entire U.S.J., the ground trembling as if an earthquake had struck. The air was filled with a deafening roar, followed by a wave of searing heat and pressure that sent all the students flying backward.

Thick, gray smoke engulfed the area, obscuring everything from view.

For a few seconds, the world fell into absolute silence, except for the sound of debris crashing onto the ground. Everyone held their breath, eyes wide as they waited to see the result of the final attack.

Uraraka was the first to react. Even with her body still weak and nausea tightening in her stomach, she forced herself to stand. With unsteady steps, she ran toward the cloud of smoke.

"BAKUGO! BAKUGO!" She kept screaming as she searched through the rubble, her frantic eyes ignoring the sting of the smoke burning her throat and vision.

The others began to move as well. Tsuyu followed closely behind her, worried, while Momo and Izuku also rushed into the dense gray haze.

"Kacchan!" Izuku shouted, his voice heavy with concern. His eyes searched tirelessly for any sign of blonde hair among the shadows and wreckage.

Without stopping to think, Uraraka quickened her pace. "Bakugo! Bakugo!" she yelled, even as her breath started to fail, ignoring the pain in her chest. The only thing that mattered was finding him.

Suddenly, something gleamed in her peripheral vision. She stopped abruptly and turned.

Between the cracks and debris, she saw the familiar shine of blonde hair. "Bakugo!" she gasped, running toward the fallen boy.

Inside a small crater on the ground, Bakugo lay motionless. His uniform was in tatters, his body covered in soot and blood. "Bakugo!" Uraraka practically threw herself beside him, clutching his body desperately.

"Bakugo?! Answer me! Please!" Her hands trembled as she touched his face, trying to find any sign of life.

Desperate, she placed her head against his chest and held her breath. For a moment, the world seemed to stop. Then, to her immense relief, she heard it. Faint but steady. The sound of a heartbeat.

"Hic! Hic!" She choked between sobs, tears falling uncontrollably. Lifting her head, she looked at his face. Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth and his nose, making the scene even more distressing. "Please… don't die… please…"

Meanwhile, Tsuyu and Izuku reached her. Izuku, his eyes brimming with tears, asked through sobs, "I-is he… alive?"

"Hic!... Y-yes…" Uraraka replied, her voice trembling between sobs. Her hands still held onto Bakugo tightly. "But he's… he's really weak…"

Tsuyu placed a hand on Uraraka's shoulder, trying to calm her. "He's strong. He won't give up so easily, kero. We need to get him out of here."

At that moment, Momo finally reached them. "We need to stabilize him and leave immediately. There are still other villains, and we don't know how much time we have before they reach us." Without wasting time, she activated her quirk and created an stretcher, positioning it beside Bakugo.

The group started to organize, but then, a disturbing sound cut through the silence. A hoarse, deranged voice echoed a few meters away.

"How? How? How? How? How? How?"

The words were murmured obsessively, a crazed mantra that made everyone's hair stand on end. They froze, lifting their heads toward the voice.

The smoke still obscured their vision, but little by little, as it dissipated, a figure began to emerge.

It was a man, with multiple hands attached along the upper part of his body. He stood beside the decapitated body of the Nomu, the monster's head completely destroyed by Bakugo's attack.

As he spoke, he scratched his neck incessantly, the sound of flesh being torn mixing with the tension of the moment.

"Cheating…" he said, his voice filled with fury and disbelief. "They must have used some kind of trick…" The man started laughing, a low, dry sound that gradually turned into something hysterical.

After a few seconds, he stopped scratching his neck, his face turning directly toward the group. A twisted smile formed on his lips.

"You destroyed my weapon… You… ruined everything… So now…" He slowly raised his hand, his fingers trembling with anticipation. "I'm going to finish every single one of you."

Izuku felt the world slow around him. The man was advancing too fast, a shadow of rage and madness. Momo created a staff from her arm, Tsuyu tensed her muscles, and Uraraka shielded Bakugo with her own body. But Izuku knew… They wouldn't be fast enough to react.

That's when he felt it. The power of One For All pulsed inside him, coursing through his veins like lightning. He barely had time to think; it was pure instinct.

Energy concentrated in his right arm, every fiber of his muscle burning, the air around him trembling with the force emanating from him.

"SMASH!!" Izuku roared, throwing his fist forward with everything he had.

The impact was devastating. The sheer force of the punch created a shockwave so intense that it pushed away the remaining smoke, revealing the devastated battlefield.

The air seemed to tear apart, and a deafening boom echoed throughout the U.S.J. The man was sent flying like a bullet, his body launched backward with such violence that he crashed through one of the training areas.

Izuku stood still for a moment, trying to process what had just happened. He looked down at his own hand, surprised to see it perfectly intact. "It… didn't break?" he whispered, more to himself than anyone else.

"Midoriya-chan!" Tsuyu's voice brought him back to reality. "Are you okay?"

Before Izuku could answer, Momo spoke, now gripping a staff in her hands. "We need to get out of here. NOW!"

Suddenly, a deep, distant sound caught their attention. It was footsteps… many footsteps. Tsuyu frowned. "More villains?"

Before anyone could respond, a colossal wall of ice rose before the staircase, blocking the path for any possible enemies.

The cold air made everyone shiver, but relief washed over them as they saw Todoroki stepping beside the group. "Is he alive?" he asked, sparing a single glance at Bakugo.

"Y-yes. But we need to hurry," Momo replied.

Todoroki nodded, scanning the group. "Let's get out of this hell—"

"You all did well holding things down until now. But I'll take it from here!"

The moment they heard those words, they knew that this nightmare had finally come to an end.

[One day later]

An old man walked slowly through the hospital corridors, leaning on a cane. He carefully looked at the numbers on each door. "Hmm... that brat gives me trouble even when it comes to finding his room."

After a few more steps, he finally found the right room. Without any ceremony, he opened the door and walked in.

Inside, Katsuki Bakugo was lying in bed, still unconscious, with a breathing mask strapped to his face.

To the right of the bed, a girl with reddish-brown hair was sleeping, her head resting against the corner of the bed. Her gloved hand firmly held Bakugo's, as if he might disappear if she let go.

The old man stopped, observing the scene with a mischievous smile. 'Oh... how cute.'

He pulled out his phone and started taking several pictures, barely holding back his laughter. 'I'm going to tease him about this until the day I die.'

After capturing the moment from various angles, he put his phone away and quietly walked toward the bed, trying to make as little noise as possible. Even so, the faint sound of his footsteps made the girl stir awake.

Uraraka lifted her head quickly. "W-who are you!?" she asked, her voice filled with suspicion as she hurriedly wiped away a trace of drool from the corner of her mouth.

The old man raised a hand, chuckling softly. "Ah, pleasure to meet you! I'm a friend of Katsuki here."

"Oh yeah? And do you have any proof of that?" Uraraka asked, narrowing her eyes as she assessed him.

The old man met her gaze, holding it for a few seconds before glancing at Bakugo. "Uraraka Ochako, right? Bakugo talks about you a lot."

The words hit Uraraka like a truck. Her face instantly turned red, and she stammered, stumbling over her words. "Ah! H-he does?!"

He smiled, a hint of amusement in his tone. "Yes."

Uraraka averted her eyes, trying to contain the storm of emotions in her chest. "W-what does he say about me?" Her voice came out low, almost a whisper, as she stared at the floor, nervously fidgeting with her hands.

"Only good things. He seems to like you a lot."

"Oh..." Uraraka felt her heartbeat quicken, a fluttery sensation rising in her stomach. Instinctively, she brought her hands to her face, trying to hide the deep blush spreading across her cheeks.

The man smirked, satisfied with her reaction, before turning his attention to the sleeping boy. "And how is he?"

The question brought Uraraka back to reality. Her shy smile faded, replaced by a heavy expression of concern.

She looked at Bakugo, her heart clenched at the sight of his condition. "Bakugo-kun had multiple fractured ribs, punctured lungs, and some internal organ damage. His hands... were completely broken, and his back... even with the ointments and Recovery Girl's Quirk, he will still have deep scars." Her voice was low, heavy with sadness.

She gently reached out, softly brushing Bakugo's cheek with her fingers. Her touch traced a delicate path, as if trying to bring him some peace in his sleep. "He'll be out until tomorrow because of the medication..." Her voice wavered for a moment, but she took a deep breath, forcing herself to stay composed.

The old man listened in silence and nodded. "I see..." he murmured before turning and walking toward the door.

"Are you leaving already?" Uraraka asked, surprised.

"Yes," the man replied, stopping at the doorway. He glanced back with a faint smile. "He's in good hands. There's nothing more I can do now."

Before leaving, he paused and cast a meaningful glance at the girl. "When the boy wakes up, tell him to come visit me so we can talk about the future. Just say that, and he'll understand."

Uraraka furrowed her brows in confusion. "Alright. I'll tell him."

Final Thoughts on Season One:

And that's it, folks. With this chapter, we officially wrap up the first season of this fanfic. It adds up to almost 40,000 words — honestly, I'm not sure if that's a lot or not, but to me, it feels like a huge milestone.

For those who don't know, this is the first story I've ever written. So, I'll admit I don't have much to compare it to. That said, I'd really love to hear what you think so far.

What worked? What could be better? Were there parts that stood out? Does my writing flow well, or does it need some fine-tuning? Any kind of feedback is welcome — critiques, suggestions, compliments, tough love… bring it on! I'm here to learn and grow along with this story.

Thank you so much for sticking with me until now. You make all of this worth it.
