With his newly fused Dusk Mane Necrozma, Yang Tao dove into the Ultra Wormhole.
In no time, he found himself in a chaotic, broken world where pieces of terrain floated in the void.
It looked a lot like The End, except the floating islands here were made of blocks from different worlds. The place he was standing on was actually a plain from the Overworld.
Looking around, he noticed many structures. A Nether Fortress from the Nether was floating in the air.
"What a fascinating world!" He was surprised to see an End Ship right next to the Nether Fortress.
He hadn't gone looking for End Ships before, but here was one right in front of him! He quickly flew over.
Inside, he found a Shulker.
"Aren't Shulkers supposed to spawn in The End? Why is there one here?" He dodged its attack, pulled out Enma Blade, and took it down with a Phantom Slash.
He opened a nearby chest and was shocked to find a Master Ball inside.
"This place is loaded! If I had known, I wouldn't have summoned Arceus first! I could've just powered up Solgaleo and raided this place instead!" He put the Master Ball into his backpack.
He looked at the Elytra on the wall.
"Elytra is useless to me now, but I'll take it as a souvenir."
Yang Tao realized he had collected quite a few keepsakes. When he got back, he would make display cases to show them all off.
He continued exploring this fragmented world, looking at all the floating buildings and landscapes, but there wasn't much else that caught his interest.
One thing he did notice was that Pokémon seemed to spawn here much faster than in the Overworld. He wasn't sure if it was because of the void or something else about this world.

Back in the chat group, Naruto had mentioned that the final round of the Chunin Exams was in five days. Now, four days had already passed. Yang Tao decided to check it out and maybe ask Orochimaru if he wanted to join him.
With Orochimaru on his side, he'd basically have a personal bio-scientist with resurrection abilities—definitely a great asset.
He put on his quantum suit. It was still the best gear he had since he hadn't found any plant-based magic yet. He'd deal with that after the Chunin Exams.

Using a portal, he arrived at his base in the Naruto world.
As soon as he stepped inside, he saw Minato and Kushina gazing lovingly into each other's eyes while embracing.
"Damn, walking straight into that scene…"
He glanced around. Nope, no mistake. This was definitely the base he built.
*cough cough!*
Hearing the sound, the two quickly separated. When Minato saw who it was, he felt a little embarrassed and said, "Sir! You're here!"
Yang Tao looked at them and couldn't help but tease, "Ah, young people! I get it. But isn't this place a little too open? People are walking around all the time! Do you need me to dig you two a private room?"
Minato and Kushina had only been married for about a year when they died. After being revived, they were still in their twenties.
Minato's face turned red at Yang Tao's words. "No need for that! The Chunin Exams are coming up, and we'll be moving soon anyway. Right, sir, are you here because of that plan?"
Yang Tao nodded. "Don't worry about it. I'm just here to watch the show this time. Oh, and to take care of a little promise I made."
Minato quickly said, "Sir, let me go with you! After all, you only agreed to Chiyo's deal because you wanted to bring Kushina and me back to life!"
Yang Tao waved him off. "No need. Taking you along would be too much trouble! By the way, has Orochimaru been around lately?"
Suddenly, he remembered Orochimaru. It had been a month, and he had no idea what the guy had decided by now.
"Orochimaru-sama stops by every now and then to check if you've been here, sir. From what Naruto said, it seems like he's been training that kid named Sasuke."
"Then I'll go find Orochimaru. You two carry on."
Turning around, he walked straight toward the exit. He wasn't the type to get in the way of other people's business.
"Why do I get the feeling Naruto's going to have a little brother or sister soon?"
He drank an invisibility potion and flew toward Konohagakure, searching for Orochimaru on the minimap.
Before long, he spotted Orochimaru's marker in a large compound and flew straight toward it.
Before he even landed, he saw Orochimaru standing to the side, looking down at Sasuke, who was covered in wounds.
"You still don't get it, do you? Right now, you're nowhere near Itachi's level. If you want to kill him, you need even harsher training!"
