Ethan wanted to lunge at him, but his limbs refused to cooperate. He was locked in place, bound by something unnatural—something powerful.
"What… is this?"
He growled.
Aldric finally smiled.
"Ah. Now that I have your full attention, we can talk properly."
Ethan forced himself to lift his head and glare at the doctor.
"You'll regret this."
Aldric chuckled.
"Perhaps. But first, let's talk about Selene."
Ethan's stomach twisted.
"What did you do to her?"
"Nothing harmful, if that's what you're worried about. For now, I've simply contained her."
Aldric said, waving a dismissive hand.
"Contained?"
