Olivia exchanged a knowing glance with Alexa, who seemed to know exactly what was going on in her head.
'The survivors look so happy here, even happier than them in the fortress. Would they be willing to leave this place?' Olivia thought inwardly.
Even though they had found the survivor, Olivia couldn't push down the feeling of unease; it felt like they weren't any closer to fulfilling their mission.
Tyler muttered low under his breath, "They built all this down here?"
Adam Grayson gave a brief nod as he led them through a narrow walkway between supply stalls. "We started with just five of us. We have grown in numbers every time someone survives long enough to find us, or we find them. Now we're 153, counting your group."
Crystal looked around, still in disbelief. "It's like an underground town."
"It is," Adam said. "Sector B's last stand."
"What is this Sector B you are always referring to? Are there other sections?" Alexa's brows furrowed.
