Unfortunately, there was another problem with me using my time elemental particles.
Unlike fire and water users who could easily access their element and find new elemental particles, my time particles were finite.
I only had the ones in my body...and that was it.
Once I ran out, I would lose complete access to my element...unless I found a way to recover them.
Snapping me back to reality, an exhausted and hoarse voice sounded from beside me.
"I-it's cold; let's go."
With my legs reenergized, I walked down the stairs while Mira huffed and puffed behind me, as if she were climbing Mt. Everest.
Behind me, I could even hear the faint sound of her complaining.
"I-i'm an observer...m-my body isn't meant for this..."
Finally, as we reached the last flight of stairs downward, Mira, drained and not paying attention, placed her leg too far forward.
As she moved forward, her body instantly tilted and slipped, causing her to free-fall downward.
