Ji Ming stared at the small screen on his watch, his expression frozen with shock. However, he tried to rub his eyes and look at the date, it was still 13/09.
"But… it was 10/09 last night," he muttered in sheer horror.
Everyone turned to him, expecting it to be a joke or a mistake from him, but when he repeated himself again with disbelief, everyone's hearts skipped a beat. It didn't look like he was joking at all.
And if he was right, that means they had actually been asleep for three whole days.
"No way…" Zhao Ren said in disbelief. "We thought we were waking up on the next day… It should be Monday… right."
"But it's Thursday," Ji Ming confirmed with his shaken voice.
A heavy silence fell over them as the realization settled in. No one wanted to believe it. It didn't make sense. Not one of them had even stirred in their sleep. Not even once. And now they had lost three whole days without even knowing it.
