Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Broken Body But Ferocious Spirit

I am Ravikiran Vashrava, an orphan who ran from an orphanage. That's my whole thing, that's my whole introduction to the people I meet newly. There's nothing interesting about me, at least that's what I thought so, a few years back.

But recently, I have discovered a funny talent in myself, my ability to make anyone, angry. This world—a wondrous planet filled with supernatural powers and loose morality was heaven for some and for people like me, a nightmare especially if you share the same talent as me.

And now I am dead. Empty and hollow deep within. I messed with another set of wrong people this time, and that led me to my demise, in quite a filthy way. Makes me shiver so fucking much.

Before I ended in that alley, I was attending yet another class of my high school—Celestial Haven International, a place for those with the ability to utilise Soul Energy or in layman's term magic. I prefer to say magic more than Soul Energy.

And unfortunately, I had a argument with the seniors—who were measured at a much higher rank than me and had much more resources than I did, in order to upgrade their capabilities. Well the reason for the argument was well.....Me developing a hero complex in order to save a girl—a first year who had recently entered the campus, from being harassed by them.

Then the next thing you know, I don't even get a simple thank you! Only recieved silent treatment as she ran away like a kitten almost as if she was more scared of me rather than them, what the? And after that when I left the campus, too poor and cheaper to afford the dorms, the seniors and a couple of friends ganged up on me a few meters away from the campus grounds.

And after a brutal beatdown with me failing to utilise my affinity due to their immense coordination and seemingly limitless magic, I died.... What a pitiful death, I suffered for someone who just ignored me!

Now I am stuck in this limbo like realm, with you in front of me. Shrouded in a veil of darkness that camouflaged you perfectly in this eternal darkness, the only reason I can still slightly see you is because of the grey orb like thing circulating in the middle of your chest, shedding some light and your purple eyes—which I have to say are quite beautiful, and rare too.

"That's it?"

What do you mean, that's it?!

"I mean. That was truly the shortest backstory I have ever heard in all my lives. Even an illiterate can explain much more about his lame ass life, and that's saying something. You who have studied such complex equations and languages, can't even tell me a proper tale? Shame on you, man."

Well I am sorry, if my tale of the past and death didn't interest you, oh greedy bastard! Not everyone is like you craving for god-knows what type of excitement, too greedy to die, becoming the slave of greed. Because of this attitude only, you end up being executed in every single birth, and never achieve the things you desire in the end!

"Woah. Calm down there, tiger. Fucking hell, you got anger issues just like Vellina, damn! Though it should be expected, as your life truly was a cursed one. But seriously, why do I always get stuck with the ones who have broken bodies yet possesses a very ferocious spirit? Oh wait!.....I too was like that in my very first life, before this whole curse, was imposed upon me. Huh? Now I get it, why some people found me quite irritating and wanted to destroy me fast. This must be another trap of the curse to make me give up on my personality, not going to happen."

Good that you at least realize the truth, unlike those seniors. Anyways why am I here? Other than listening to each other's backstory. I mean I should have seen god? Not something akin to the devil. Unless this is hell!

"Trust me hell is a lot more exciting....than this realm of emptiness. This drives you mad with silence, while that drives you mad with pain, but at least you get a glimpse of hot demon-girls and live there in relaxation after your punishment is done. Anyways, I am getting sidetracked here, ignoring the main point. You're here because well....You understand my curse don't you?"

Yeah, I do. But wh-? Oh..... Oh! Now I understand, I am here not only because I am dead but also because, I am the body you will take birth in, right?

"Yes, that is right. You are taking this pretty well, anger issues. Thought your soul would explode into millions of little pieces."

Fuck you.

"I am sorry, but I don't hold any form of attraction to the same sex, though it would be different if you were a girl."

Like I said, fuck you.

"Anyways, ignoring your rash language. Do you agree to bestow your body to me?"

Well....Sure. I mean did I even have a choice? The curse will meet its conditions regardless of our wishes, won't it?

"Hmm. Affirmative. This was just a sort of formality, you know. Tui be honest with you, you were a good person to talk to, in another life maybe we could be friends?"

Don't try to butter me and reduce your bad karma by appeasing me before my passing, you don't have a heart nor did you enjoy our conversation. This realm makes both of us feel both of our emotions, so no sense in trying to trick me. Just....get on with it now.

"....."

-----------

"He was right. That was just a way for me to try and reduce my bad karma. What an intelligent boy. Sad, he could be a good advisor in my former kingdom, though I would need to whip his anger issues away from his red heart."

Chuckled Astrotoa, who was now Ravikiran, and then he stood up on both his feet. Stumbling a bit in place, for he was not used to such a lean body, and the bruises were hindering him. Somewhat. He was used to pain, but this boy's body couldn't adapt to pain quite easily. It needed a lot of training, harsh.... training.

Ravikiran brought his right sleeve closer to his nose and snapped his head back to the side, the smell of urine was still on him and it was sickening. Such disrespect, made him wrathful as this was now his body! But he would need to wait. Patience was like always a virtue to have, even for a greedy man like him. Especially for a greedy man like him.

"For now, I need a good bath."

Ravikiran muttered silently to himself, as he located a puddle which would help him look at his visage, when suddenly someone screamed from behind causing him to turn around and his eyes soon widened just like a pair of full moons.
