Chapter 17 - Gina 2

Gina was completely paralyzed as she didn't expect the one knocking to be the man she had been thinking about for a very long time. Seeing Darren's handsome face, her tears slowly poured down her cheeks, almost blurring her vision. Distressed upon seeing this, Darren quickly hugged her, placing his arms around her as he comforted her softly.

Though he didn't know why she was crying, he never needed a reason to comfort one of the only two beloved women in his life. Still holding Gina, Darren entered the house, closed the gate, and carried her in a princess carry. He felt her softness against him as he walked to the hall, sat on the sofa, and settled her onto his lap, continuing to soothe her.

When Gina finally calmed down, Darren cupped her face in both hands and gazed intently into her eyes. "Why is my queen crying like a grieving woman," he asked, "when she was the one who left me first?"

Hearing this, Gina raised her head, kissed him passionately, then pulled back slightly. "I had no choice back then," she whispered.

Darren's expression turned skeptical at her words.

After all, he had done a little research and knew that she had been approached by his sister, after which she left. But he had never been privy to the details of their conversation or what transpired—only that Gina was crying when they were done, and soon after, she left. This was also one of the reasons why the relationship was fractured between Darren and his sister.

Seeing the skeptical look in Darren's eyes—though he tried to hide it—Gina explained, "The reason I left was to protect you. Your sister instructed the people around you to prevent you from seeing me and to divert your attention whenever you got close."

Hearing this, the rage and anger toward Vivian that he had locked away came boiling back as he clenched his fist. Gina quickly held Darren's hand and said softly, "Calm down, Darren. Let me finish. Before your sister approached me, I was contacted by a weird group of people. They wanted me to help them with something in exchange for helping me reclaim the inheritance from the dead old man. I was initially skeptical—after all, what would someone with that much power need from me, a vulnerable woman? So I declined. But they persisted, and in exchange, I did a few meaningless tasks for them. Then, around the time our relationship had grown intense and we were practically glued at the hip, they made a weird request: to submit information about my partner, as they didn't want any complications."

I initially complied, feeling that this was nothing much to worry about, so I just did. But soon, their requests started to get invasive—almost as if I were being watched or spied on through me. I initially thought these people were competitors with your company, so I informed your sister. She was initially alarmed and asked a couple of questions. After I answered, she seemed relieved. She then took a pill from somewhere and forced me to swallow it, after which I passed out for hours.

When I woke up, your sister explained that these people are very dangerous. Although she knows I am a victim, she had hoped I would leave you for some time, and "if the time is right, you will be able to see me again."

Darren was so lost. His first question was, "Didn't I already help you claim that old man's property?" Gina, seeing Darren's confusion, answered, "The ones you helped me claim were only one-tenth of the entire inheritance."

Darren, still not fully recovered from his confusion, then asked, "What sort of people or group are so dangerous that my sister—of all people—seemed flustered from the recollection? And why would she ask you to stay away until the 'right time'?"

Darren was starting to feel like his life was not entirely that simple. But looking at Gina, he was certain she knew nothing, and asking her would probably yield nothing. Still, Darren was really looking forward to Vivian's return.

After all, if anyone knows half of what is going on, it was probable that sister of mine placing everything at the back of his mind. Darren looked into the eyes of the woman he had been longing for years. Although the revelations this evening had cooled his enthusiasm of the passion after first seeing her, Darren was captivated by her look and dress, that he swallowed subconsciously, feeling a dry throat, moving his hands to her face.

Darren remembered the lilys he had brought with him, which was a mess, making Gina—who saw it—laugh like silver bells, chasing Darren's embarrassment away. Throwing the lilys on the floor of the hall, Darren carried the happy queen up the stairs as they began to kiss frantically, with their tongues intertwine, losing themselves in eachothers embrace. As they found a room to let loss at the same time, in the villa, a camera was flashing red, and if you did not pay attention, you will not see it. Behind this camera was no other than Vivian, who start monitoring their conversation from the very beginning and subsequently follow them to the room they were going to fuck in with the cameras around the entire house.

And one may ask, why will she do that? Of cause, she was not doing that cause she was secretly also a freak who love to watch her brother fuck.
