Chapter 56: End of GT, A New Timeline?
The battle continued fiercely. Although Zaiko and Ize couldn't match Lin Qi one-on-one, their combined efforts managed to exert some pressure on Lin Qi even in his Super Saiyan 5 form.
"Bring it on!" Lin Qi grinned as he felt the intensity of the battle rising.
The chaos escalated. Lightning rolled across the dark clouds in the sky, and the ground trembled violently. The entire planet seemed to be on the brink of destruction—its core shifted wildly, and the terrain underwent drastic changes.
Mountain ranges cracked and collapsed, sinking into the earth, while underwater ridges rose dramatically. Seawater surged inland, flooding vast areas.
Lila had already fled far from the battlefield. She was now inside her spaceship, frantically operating the controls.
"Hurry up..."
"Hurry up and lift off!"
Lila was too preoccupied with her escape to care about what was happening at the center of the battle storm between Zaiko and Ize.
Meanwhile, in the heart of the battlefield, Ize and Zaiko's teamwork became increasingly synchronized. Initially, their lack of coordination even led to friendly fire, but now they moved as one.
"Damn it... Is this guy a monster? He's taken so many of our attacks, yet his strength hasn't diminished at all!" Ize growled, retreating as he exchanged blows with Lin Qi.
Breathing heavily, Ize and Zaiko stood back-to-back. "This is it—one final attack!"
"With everything we've got," Zaiko nodded, clasping his hands together as he began to gather energy for a powerful blast.
If the fight dragged on, even their combined efforts would lead to defeat. They had no choice but to gamble everything on this one move.
Ize and Zaiko's palms glowed faintly, the light growing increasingly dazzling. Their energy unleashed a powerful hurricane that swept across the land, shaking the entire planet.
The shockwaves brought the planet to its breaking point, triggering countless disasters. Fortunately, the planet was sparsely populated; otherwise, the energy and destruction would have claimed innumerable lives.
Lila's spaceship reached the outer atmosphere just in time. Looking back, she saw the planet's surface breaking apart and slowly crumbling into fragments.
Ize and Zaiko pooled all their energy into a combined attack. A black-purple energy beam merged with a blue-green beam, spiraling together into a massive energy column.
The two-toned spiral column shot toward Lin Qi like an unstoppable force.
"Bring it on!" Lin Qi's eyes lit up with excitement as he unleashed his own ki blast.
The two energy waves collided, producing an explosion of unimaginable power. Mountains disintegrated inch by inch, massive rocks lifted into the air, and the hard ground broke apart.
The nearby ocean boiled, sending steam billowing into the sky.
Space itself began to warp and distort. Lin Qi grinned as he observed the phenomena. "Finally... this is the moment!"
In a flash, Lin Qi teleported to the small black hole that had formed in the aftermath of the energy collision. While this black hole was far smaller than the one created during his battle with Beerus, it was sufficient for his purpose.
As Ize and Zaiko's energy beam pierced through the atmosphere and dissipated into space, the two fighters finally exhaled in relief.
They exchanged glances and then turned away from each other.
"We got him!"
"This stays between us!"
"Humph!" They snorted at each other before heading in opposite directions.
As the planet's slow destruction continued, Zaiko barely managed to reach Lila's spaceship.
"You're okay?" Lila stood up excitedly from the pilot's seat. "No time to waste—we're heading to Earth!"
"We can't afford any delays!"

Lin Qi entered the black hole, only to be overwhelmed by its distorting forces. Even in his Super Saiyan 5 form, the intense warping was too much for him to bear.
"Ugh..." The sensation of dizziness overtook him, and he eventually passed out.
In the endless darkness, Lin Qi faintly heard the sound of flapping wings.
"Flap, flap..."
"What... kind of bird makes such an awful sound?"
The irritating noise made Lin Qi's head ache even more. Clutching his head, he sat up groggily. "So noisy... Who's there?"
"You're awake..."
The voice belonged to an old man—familiar, yet somewhat unfamiliar. Lin Qi turned to see an elderly Supreme Kai stroking a yellow bird.
"What the—? Old Supreme Kai?! What are you doing here?" Lin Qi was stunned.
Had he failed to leave the GT timeline, or had he entered an entirely new one?
The old Supreme Kai seemed not to recognize Lin Qi, but he felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity with him. Smiling what he thought was a kind smile—but in reality, a rather lecherous one—he said, "You were found unconscious by the Chronoa Bird."
"Chronoa Bird (Tokitoki Bird)?" Lin Qi squinted at the creature in question. "Ugh... it really does look like crap!"
Chronoa Bird. Old Supreme Kai. Time Kai?
Looking around, Lin Qi noticed the surroundings. The courtyard ceiling was adorned with countless clock components.
"This is the Time Nest, right? What are you doing here, old man?" Lin Qi asked coldly.
The old Supreme Kai stopped stroking the bird and clasped his hands behind his back, scrutinizing Lin Qi. "You... know quite a bit, don't you?"
Lin Qi smirked and summoned the power of destruction in his palm. "Well, I'm the God of Time Destruction."
This clearly wasn't the original GT world. That was both good... and bad. This place reeked of chaotic magic.
The old Supreme Kai's face twitched. Just as he was about to say something, commotion arose from a nearby path.
"Humph, this historical anomaly must be the work of Towa and Mira!"
"Ah, the scrolls are piling up again! What are we going to do about Trunks?"
"Heh... we'll take it slow. We don't have any other options anyway."
Around the corner came Trunks, looking sheepish as he tried to calm a hyperactive girl with short auburn hair and pointed ears.
"Don't get so worked up!" Trunks said, trying to reassure her.
The girl, dressed in Supreme Kai attire with her hands on her hips, was none other than Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time.
"Trunks, Goku! Hurry up and get moving!" Chronoa urged, shoving the two forward.
Goku, wearing the red uniform of the Time Patrol and carrying his Power Pole, turned back and asked curiously, "Aren't you coming with us?"
"Ha! Do you want to work me to death? I've been up for three days straight summoning you guys, moving through time, altering training schedules..."
"Eh? Old Supreme Kai, you're here too?" Goku ignored her complaints and greeted the old man cheerfully.
