The stylist picked up the dusty mauve lipstick and I exclaimed.
"Stop. Not that."
She looked up cluelessly.
"Sorry, ma'am?" She looked down at the lipstick in her hand and back up to me.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I just think the nude pink one will look better with her dress. She wants a soft look."
I squirmed internally, thinking that she might think of me as too fussy. I mean, she was the stylist. It was obvious she knew better than me.
Her eyebrows met as she looked at the nude pink lipstick lying on the dresser along with many other shades.
"Actually, you're right ma'am. That one will look better." She smiled and I smiled back.
"Oh my god. Thanks for taking it positively. I thought you'll curse me," I said, letting out a chuckle and she laughed a little.
"No ma'am. You have a good sense of styling." She put down the mauve one and picked up the nude pink shade before swiping it on Diana's lips.
