The night in Karakura Town was eerily quiet. Hirako Shinji sat atop the warehouse roof, gazing at the starry sky in silence.
It had been 112 years since he and the others were betrayed and framed by Aizen.
He once longed for the nights of the Seireitei, but over time, he had gradually grown accustomed to staring at the night sky of Karakura Town.
"Oi~ Hirako! Are you brooding again?"
Sarugaki Hiyori walked up beside him, glancing up at the stars before speaking.
"Hiyori, I wonder when we'll finally get our revenge," Hirako said, his expression turning serious.
As the two discussed their plans, they suddenly sensed three powerful reiatsu approaching from the distance.
"Reiatsu I've never felt before!" Hirako quickly stood up, placing his hand on the hilt of his Zanpakutō.
Like him, Hiyori had also sensed the unfamiliar spiritual pressure. Without hesitation, she drew her Zanpakutō from her back, her expression turning grim as she gazed into the distance.
Moments later, three figures clad in white appeared in the sky. Their overwhelming reiatsu was unlike anything Hirako and the others had encountered before.
"Hirako, look at their masks!" Hiyori warned in a grave tone.
Hirako slowly unsheathed his Zanpakutō, lowering his voice. "Hiyori, be careful."
Without hesitation, the two activated their Hollowfication, ready for battle.
Xiao Long furrowed his brows slightly as he observed the two figures on the roof, a flash of caution appearing in his eyes.
"Xiao Long, there are six more inside the warehouse," Nakim, who stood beside him, pointed out.
As the tension thickened, Muguruma Kensei and the others emerged onto the rooftop one by one.
"Hirako, those three... They must be what Urahara referred to as Arrancar, right?"
"Hollows that have gained Shinigami powers, huh?" someone scoffed.
"Don't let your guard down. These things are Aizen's handiwork."
"Tch, let's hurry this up. I still have a magazine to read after this!"
"Oi, Hiyori, which one do you want? I'll fight alongside you, haha!"
Though the atmosphere had been tense moments ago, for some reason, the Visoreds started making lighthearted remarks.
On the other side, the three Arrancar were taken aback by the number of enemies before them. Though not intimidated, they became more wary.
The most infuriating part was that the Shinigami completely ignored them, casually chatting as if they weren't even there.
"Hey! Do you know a guy named Kurosaki Ichigo?" Nakim, unable to contain his irritation, barked.
"Since you're here, let's test Aizen's creations for ourselves," Hirako Shinji said before vanishing in an instant, charging toward the enemies.
"Oi! Shinji, leave one for me!"
Sarugaki Hiyori shouted in frustration before disappearing into an afterimage, rushing into battle.
"These two, seriously..."
Muguruma Kensei shook his head, then exchanged a glance with the others before drawing his Zanpakutō and leaping into the fray.
The sky above the warehouse soon resounded with the clash of blades.
...
In the midst of the commotion, Aaron, standing among the crowd, suddenly felt a devastating force surging from above.
Just as he was about to warn the others, he saw Urahara Kisuke and Kuchiki Kōga shoot into the air like streaks of light, breaking through the warehouse roof to engage the approaching threat.
Kurosaki Ichigo and his companions noticed the disturbance in the sky, their eyes widening in shock as they saw a crimson Cero hurtling toward them.
"O unyielding prince of the skies, an iron wall of fortitude!
Dragon's stride, lion's roar, tiger's cry, wolf's rush!
Halt the world's collapse!
Bakudō #81: Dankū!" Urahara Kisuke intoned, raising his hand as a translucent barrier formed in front of them.
Kuchiki Kōga narrowed his eyes at the figures in the sky, his voice chillingly indifferent as he whispered, "Muramasa, whisper."
As Urahara and Kuchiki Kōga prepared for battle, Tessai Tsukabishi finished his incantation, reinforcing the defense.
Just as Shihōin Yoruichi was about to leap into action, Aaron placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, smiling. "Yoruichi, you and Tessai stay here and protect Ichigo and the others. I'll handle this."
"But, sensei—"
Before she could protest, Aaron vanished from sight.
She stared at the spot where he had stood, murmuring to herself, "Sensei's Shunpo... It's already at this level?"
A deafening explosion filled the air as the red Cero collided with the defensive barrier, sending powerful shockwaves rippling outward.
Kurosaki Ichigo and the others stared in awe at the raging battle unfolding above them.
As Aaron ascended, he saw that Urahara Kisuke and Kuchiki Kōga were already engaged in combat with the Arrancar trio.
"O supreme hand that governs the thousands, untouched by darkness!
The celestial archer whose radiance knows no bounds!
Fan the embers of fate with your resplendent winds!
Heed my command, heed my will!
Hadō #91: Senju Kōten Taihō!"
Urahara Kisuke chanted solemnly, unleashing dozens of crimson energy blasts toward Grimmjow and his comrades.
A series of deafening explosions filled the sky, accompanied by clouds of dark smoke and debris.
Unlike Urahara's calculated attacks, Kuchiki Kōga and another figure in a white robe fought with an eerie, fluid motion.
Purple energy flickered around them as they weaved through the sky, occasionally firing streaks of green light at their enemies.
At this moment, both Urahara Kisuke and Kuchiki Kōga noticed Aaron's presence.
The two immediately moved to his side, speaking in unison, "Sensei, leave this to us!"
Aaron, having already activated his "Exploration Loop," had a clear read on the reiatsu levels of Grimmjow and his allies.
A smirk tugged at his lips as he drew his Zanpakutō.
"Let's test my theory," he murmured before whispering, "Devour everything, Kyōshoku Bōkō! Bankai!"
A monstrous surge of reiatsu erupted from his body, surging toward the Grimmjow trio like a tidal wave.
Both Urahara and Kōga staggered slightly from the sheer force before they saw Aaron vanish in an instant.
Within the blink of an eye, he appeared above Grimmjow and his allies, his blade already swinging downward.
A vortex of energy engulfed them, pulling them in with overwhelming force.
Grimmjow's eyes widened in horror. "No...! It's him!"
Realizing the imminent danger, he propelled himself backward using Sonído, barely escaping the crushing force.
But his two companions weren't as lucky.
Agonized screams echoed through the night as their bodies disintegrated into ashes, scattering into the wind.
Grimmjow gritted his teeth, sensing his comrades' reiatsu vanish entirely.
Just as he was about to activate his Resurrección, a dark figure loomed before him, and his vision was swallowed by shadow.
