Chapter 6 - It all comes down to you

[Yami slowly wakes up, his head resting on Misami's lap. The gentle hum of the car surrounds him.]

Misami: "Finally... you're awake."

Yami (groggy): "Yeah... Sorry for worrying you."

Yahiko (arms crossed): "You big meanie. And what was that fighting back there? It was like someone else took over your body."

Yami: "I couldn't let anyone get hurt. Not again."

[Miss Sarah, calm but focused, keeps her eyes on the road. The city slowly gives way to the sound of waves as they approach the Tokyo Bay.]

Miss Sarah: "I'm just glad you're conscious, Yami. But... there's something you need to know."

[The car comes to a stop near a run-down store at the dock. Sea breeze brushes across their faces as Sarah steps out.]

Yami: "Why are we at the bay?"

[Sarah silently gestures toward the door of the store and begins walking.]

Miss Sarah: "Come with me. All of you."

Misami: Mom… what's going on?

[Yami gently takes the girls by the arms. The group enters the store. In a flash of light, the world distorts — and when their vision clears, they're standing atop a craggy mountain wrapped in seaweed, dried blood staining ancient stone.]

Yami: "Wh– What the hell is this? Where are we?"

Misami: "Mom?!"

Yahiko: "…"

Miss Sarah (voice calm, but heavy): "Yahiko… your mission is on hold."

[Yahiko's blonde hair ripples, shifting into a vivid green — a hue that mirrors the wild beauty of nature itself.]

Yami: "What's going on? Who... are you really?"

Miss Sarah:" I am Sarah Fury Vermillion — Guide of Truth. The last of my clan. And Yahiko… she's the second daughter of the Goddess of Nature. Murdered by Lucifer, like the rest of the gods."

Yami:" Lucifer? Gods? This is too much. What are you even talking about?"

[Sarah pulls out a photograph — it shows a boy with longer hair, identical to Yami.]

Misami (to herself): "That's why... he feels so familiar. They're the same person. Just from different worlds..."

Sarah: "I know this is overwhelming, but time isn't on our side. Your powers are unstable, Yami. Every time they surge, it sends a signal — and if Lucifer picks up on it, this reality will become his next target."

Yami (quietly): "… I felt it. When I woke up. That pressure inside."

Misami (snapping):" ENOUGH!"

[Everyone turns to her.]

Misami: "Someone tell me what the hell is going on! What is all this, Mom?"

Yahiko: "Misa, wai—"

Misami: "I wasn't talking to you! I'm talking to my mother. So shut up!"

Sarah (softly):" I kept it all hidden for your sake, sweetheart. I made a promise… to your father."

Misami (eyes wide): "Dad…?"

Sarah: "He wasn't a god, but he stood against Lucifer anyway. And he paid the price. He died to protect you... to protect us all."

[Misami's expression cracks. She turns and runs.]

Yami: "Misami—!"

Sarah:" Let her go. She needs time."

Yami (quietly):" … So what now?"

Sarah: "Now, you train. Here, in Olympus — far beyond the reach of mortals — until you can control the power within. Because if you don't, Lucifer will find you."

Yahiko: "You don't have a choice. Your emotions are leaking mana constantly. You're like a beacon in the dark."

Yami (staring at his hands): "Why me? I was just a nobody. A shut-in. There's nothing special about me…"

[His voice trembles. For the first time, vulnerability bleeds through.]

Sarah:" You can protect others — just like you already have. And whether it was fate, coincidence, or the Dagger's Crest that brought you here… you're the one who has to stop him."

Yami: "And the Crest? What does Lucifer want with it?"

Sarah (solemn): "He doesn't want the Crest — he wants the power sealed within it. To open the Gates of Tartarus. No one knows why. He already destroyed your world... He won't hesitate to destroy this one too. You are the vessel now. And he will come for you."

[Yami closes his fists. The wind stirs. He breathes deep.]

Yami: "Then I'll stop him. I couldn't save my world… but I'll be damned if I let him take this one too."

Sarah (smiling faintly):" That's the spirit."

[Yahiko nods once, then quietly runs off after Misami.]

Narrator (closing lines):

And so, a lost soul is handed the fate of two worlds. Will he rise above despair — or be consumed by it?

The road ahead is steep, but the fire in his heart has only just begun to burn.

Until next time…
