In the city of Dellabonna, with a rhythm all its own. With walking sidewalks and hover cars that make the city silent but lively. And a silver hover car was a man in his 40's with Hazel eyes and black hair wearing a stark black suit that conveyed an air of authority.
Right next to him was a young girl with brown hair and her right black eye, her left eye was a faded grey eye that made her blind. She paired a fitted black turtleneck with a high-waisted plaid skirt in shades of burgundy and grey, Co pleating the look with chunk black boots.
Quinn tapped the steering wheel. "How much cleaning do we have today?" Susannah raised one of her arms as a hologram popped up.
"Two cover ups from Chamomile Group and Eyebright Inc and then the meeting with all the members." She answered.
He groaned. "Ugh! Really?! A cover up for that jerk Eros then a meeting with that mean jerk!" He kept his eyes on the road.
She chipped in. "You say jerk twice."
Quinn gaze her ways. "That's cause he is. Listen to me Lily never let someone like him get to you." He explained but really he talking about himself but Susannah already knew.
"And yet you let him get to you." She said the thing that wasn't meant to be said out loud.
Quinn slammed on the wheel. "I know!" They made it to one of Chamomile's hospitals, They went to the basement of that hospital. There Eros greeted them.
"Quinn is good to see the clean up crews." Eros smirked.
Quinn chuckled. "Could of ask the Rue Drew for cleaning?"
Eros grinned. "But it is not the same dirt cleaning up dirt after all."
Quinn had a cracking smile. "Yes since you can't handle your own failing." They start laughing at each other. As Susannah and Theodora sighed.
Susannah walks over to the "clean up". "So what cause this anyway." She pointed to the dead body cover in blood with their head slit open.
Theodora cross her arms. "Oh a failed business meeting." Susannah wrote something down.
"Let's say death by entering a forbidden area."
Eros hugged her. "Love it!"
"Hey that my daughter!" Quinn barked.
"The Rue clean up will be coming soon we have another clean up." She said.
Eyebright Casino*
Susannah was poking the body as Quinn was talking to Octavia.
"Let me guess a failed meeting?" Quinn raise his eyebrow.
"No he called me old." Octavia shrugged her shoulder.
"Death by alcohol poison." Susannah cheered her arm up. "Love it!" Octavia hugged her.
"Why is everyone hugging my Lily?!" Quinn shouted.
"I always wanted a child who would cover up my crimes." She sighed. Susannah nodded.
"We will see you at the meeting later then."
The Flower Mafia has meetings now and again but with all the members together it is serious. They rent a small room in the underworld of Dellabonna, the room was spacious with a long, polished mahogany table that have a eight leather chairs with the Chamomile chair being at the Head on the table.
Eros stood up and pulled up a hologram with the Belladonna plant. "Alright let start this meeting about the Belladonnas that have been going around."
Juniper was on the left side of the table. "Yes it seems to be in the areas of the city but someone is taking them." Atticus added.
St Johnswort was on the right side of the table. "Some of the Belladonnas were also taken from my labs." Nicolette had some hissed in her voice.
Eyebright sat next to Juniper. "I tried to find any info from the lower underworld but nothing." Octavia was playing with her pen.
Rue sat next to St Johnswort. "I have some autopsies bodies with Belladonna in their systems." Asher chipped in.
Jasmine sat next Eyebright. Charles sighed. "And there is also a new drug in the underworld as well." The Sage's chair stays empty but MoonFlower chair was at the end of the table. With Susannah standing behind the Head of MoonFlower.
"Want to chip in Quinn?" Eros glared at him. Quinn was playing angry sparrow on his phone, Eros turned his gaze to Susannah for anything. All she did was sigh and shrug off her shoulders. He had enough as he stomped his shoes towards Quinn.
"Mr.Talons?" Eros turn his chair to him.
"Silence Thorn." Quinn speaks up.
Eros raised his eyebrows. "What?"
Quinn added. "Is a new gang in the underworld." Eros cross his arms.
"How did you find out?"
Quinn shrug his arm. "Vortex Seed."
"That small company?" Eros sighed. Quinn put his thumb out. "Indeed their seeds are magical touching dry land and making profits."
"We have proof that Vortex Seed and Silence Thorns are the same as us hiding our status as Mafias as well as helping this city." Susannah remarked.
Octavia groaned. "That make things more annoying."
Charles added in. "And I tried to do a business deal with Vortex Seed but got turned down."
Eros clicked his teeth. "If they turn down Charles then they are different on to us."
Quinn cheered. "New high score!" At click of a gun point to Susannah's Head.
"Enough of this, Quinn!" Eros barked.
"We do not aim at another member of Flower." Charles point his gun up.
"Don't aim at my Lily!" Quinn put a dagger to Eros's neck.
Susannah grab Eros's gun and lower it down. "Excuse me,Mr.Eros but we have to make sure to get the students ready for classes in a few days."
Eros put his gun away but noticed a dent where Susannah place her fingers at. "Your Father is something else."
After the meeting, Quinn and Susannah was walking around the area.
Quinn groaned in boredom. "That meeting was a pain."
Susannah put her hands on her hips. "I hope you take them a bit more seriously."
"Sorry Lily but those meetings can be explained in Holo-mails."
Susannah pointed her finger in his face. "You are the Head of MoonFlower act like it!"
Quinn raises his arm up in defeat. "Alright! Alright!"
Susannah giggled and skipped up front. "Wait Lil-" Quinn stop moving. A hummed come in.
"Oh I love this song." Susannah hummed along. A woman was walking the same path singing with Susannah, her bold, scarlet parasol held above her head. The Sun touches her tan face as it reveals a rose eyepatch. Her baby blue dress flow in light breeze with matching heels that have riddons tie in a bow.
"Hello there Jericho." The Woman voice was so angelic but Quinn's body shiver with fear.
"Runa?" Quinn whispered. Susannah tilted her head, she never saw him like this with any woman.
"Dad you know her?" Susannah walks over to him. Runa had a small grin up to Quinn.
"You're a Dad after all those years?"
"Susannah get behind me." Quinn move her.
Runa glances down at the young girl. "Susannah what a lovely name."
Quinn touch Susannah's shoulders. "Let go." They walk away. Runa twirled around and placed her arms behind her back.
"And one more thing before you go Jericho?"
Quinn turn his head. "What?!"
"I always get what I want." And with that Runa walk away.
Susannah look up. "Dad?" Quinn tightened his grip on her shoulders.
