"Miss Jones? Where's the file I asked you to get?" Sebastian asked in a hushed tone while glaring at Chloe murderously.
Chloe, who was praying till now for him to not notice, cursed under her breath. They were already in the meeting and the meeting had already started five minutes ago. She entered the meeting without the file which she doesn't have at that moment.
"Wh...why d..do you ne...need the file?" She asked while stammering and trying her best to meet his eyes. He frowned seeing her acting weirdly.
"Don't tell me you forgot the file at home!" He exclaimed while making sure to keep his voice under control and glared at her. She gulped nervously after seeing that she got caught earlier than she expected.
