Xavier held Moira firmly by the waist, steadying her after the collision with the server. Their eyes locked for a brief moment.
"*I should know this man from somewhere*, *but I'm certain I've never met him before.*" Moira thought to herself. But despite her certainty, a strange feeling of familiarity washed over her.
For Xavier, the moment was even more disorienting. As his hands gripped her waist, a sudden surge of power coursed through his body.
His vision sharpened dramatically—he could now see the tiniest details on her face, details no normal person should be able to perceive.
Then, without turning around, he sensed someone approaching from behind. Quickly, he helped Moira regain her balance and stand on her feet.
She exhaled sharply as she comported herself.
"Ma'am, are you okay...?" Xavier started to ask, but before Moira could answer, Drake appeared beside them.
