"Stop it!" came the voice of a man yelling at them to stop. The two women turned around, and saw Jake stopping them.
Agatha stood up and stared at Jake. "What the hell is this? Are you trying to tell me to stop? Who do you think you are to stop me?"
"Your job for now is done! You can leave now!" said Agatha's servant.
But the man was hesitant to leave. He knew he had kidnapped a woman, and something bad would definitely happen to her. But seeing her like this, especially after he knew that she would be very influential in the Southern Duke, he became so afraid that something would happen to her.
He began to worry about his safety and that of his family. What if the Southern Duke was so angry, he even punished him and his family severely.
Jake didn't want anything to happen to his family either.
"I know that, but this woman is related to the Southern Duke. He would definitely do something bad to us, if he knew that we kidnapped her. Let alone humiliate her like this!"
