*A grimoire opens.*
Before we go any further, it's best to understand this world first.
*(Note: This chapter contains an explanation of what has happened since the beginning of the timeline. There will be a lot of exposition, so feel free to skip to the middle if you don't want to read too much information.)*

### **World Timeline**
- **June 13, 2029** – For the first time, humans received *Jobs*.
- **June 27, 2031** – The world began to fall into chaos due to caste differences determined by certain *Jobs*.
- **July 30, 2032** – Conflicts worsened as humans became greedier in their pursuit of *Job* power.
- **October 31, 2032** – The world responded by creating absolute chaos: the emergence of *Jobs* with powers beyond human limits.
- **February 23, 2034** – The first *Dungeon* was discovered, further fueling human greed and creating global instability.
- **April 16, 2035** – The present timeline. Glenn acquires a mysterious *Job*.
Humans continued to fight one another.
Greed slowly turned into envy and resentment. A leader was needed to bring everything under control.
Perhaps *Dungeons* were opened to make humanity realize they had become worse than monsters.
They killed each other for satisfaction and material gain.
But in the end, all of this only created emptiness. Chaos spread, and whatever they were searching for… they would never find it.
Amidst it all, one figure stood at the center of attention. He was more than just human.
To the world, he was a divine symbol.
Humans were merely afraid. They wanted to maintain their dominance.
But if the universe truly had to choose a single leader…
Why bother fixing everything when you can simply reset it?
**Aux city*
A lone man with jet-black hair walked toward the city of Aux.
Glenn.
This city was known as the gathering place for one of the largest crime syndicates.
But he didn't care.
He had a mission to complete.
A few names crossed his mind—people who could be called "friends":
- **Linya Yeshnikov** – A red-haired girl with a terrifying smile. She always decorated her hair with various accessories like headbands and ribbons.
- **Dale** – A small blonde girl, still a child yet already holding the title of *Professor*. His new superior in the military.
- **Walter** – Leader of the *Tank Battalion*. Glenn once followed him into a *Dungeon*. Now, the man had returned with a new presence.
- **Martin Lughwort** – A casino owner. A grim man who was always serious. Glenn never felt hostility from him—only a strong sense of rivalry.
Glenn was no longer an ordinary man.
After his actions in the battle at Stranley City, he now held authority as the right hand of the *Simp Battalion* in the military.
The atmosphere in this city felt different.
Every street and alley was filled with people who thrived on oppression. Including Glenn.
Someone tried to strike him from behind.
Futile.
A book floated, shielding him.
Glenn turned, his gaze sharp.
With little effort, he took his attacker down with a single *tackle*.
But the assault wasn't over.
Glenn adjusted his headset, hoping to ignore them.
Another attack came.
Effortlessly, he dodged.
One punch.
Two men collapsed.
The deeper he went into the alley, the more people stood guard.
"Move. I don't want to fight."
Even after saying that, they still attacked.
But they were too slow.
Glenn dodged and countered with a knee strike, bringing his opponent down in one hit.
He kept walking… until his eyes locked onto a woman.
Before him, a woman was fighting.
Her combat style was ruthless—merciless.
Glenn observed her.
But she caught his gaze and immediately deemed him a threat.
Without warning, a fight broke out.
At first, she fought passively, but soon, she started losing ground.
Frustrated, she began hurling objects at Glenn.
Trash cans.
Metal pipes.
Anything within her reach.
Glenn was taken aback.
*"Why is she this strong?"*
Before he could think further, she grabbed his leg and threw him into a dumpster.
The fight was over.
Glenn was captured.
When Glenn regained consciousness, he was inside a *Job* office.
He thought he would be thrown into an arena or locked up… but no.
The woman stared at him and spoke calmly,
"We can't imprison you."
Glenn explained that this was just a misunderstanding.
But she remained skeptical.
"Newcomers don't make it this far without getting into trouble," she said.
Even so, Glenn still posed a potential threat.
Thus, the city's main captain made a decision:
This woman would keep an eye on Glenn.
"My name is Froslova."
"I'm a battalion commander in this city, the City of Aux."
"My name is Glenn."
"I came to this city only to gather information."
They shook hands.
Glenn was surprised.
Her grip was stronger than he expected.
"So, are you going to let me go?" Glenn asked.
"Of course," Froslova replied casually.
"As long as you prove you're not dangerous."
Glenn let out a sigh.
"The main captain has approved this.
From now on, I'll be watching your every move."
And she meant it.
As soon as Glenn stepped out of the *Job* office, Froslova trailed behind him.
There was no space for him to move freely.
*"If this continues, how am I supposed to gather information?"*
Glenn pondered.
Perhaps there was a way.
With a sly smile, he turned to Froslova.
"What if we make a deal?" he said.
"If I defeat you, you'll stop watching me."
Froslova grinned.
"Alright."
---
They agreed to settle it in the arena.
But as soon as the fight started…
One punch.
Glenn was sent flying, instantly knocked out.
The battle was called off immediately.
As his consciousness slowly returned, only one thought filled his mind:
*"Why is there someone this terrifying?"*
His plan had completely failed.
