Chapter 230 - Chapter 230: The Wind Elemental Lord

The most important reason for their curiosity was his status.

He was the first male spirit user since Solomon.

It was only natural for the girls to be curious about him.

Solomon's era was far too distant for them; three hundred years was enough to erase everything. The passage of time would heal all wounds.

What the girls knew was only what was recorded in books, and most of them learned about Solomon when they were younger through illustrated books.

The girls viewed Solomon more like a fairy tale figure; the awe they once had was long gone. With a curious mindset, they naturally wanted to see the strength of the legendary male spirit user, Roa.

But Roa had no intention of greeting anyone in the venue; he simply continued to eat until the banquet ended.

Claire complained somewhat dissatisfied, "You can't just keep eating!"

Roa shrugged, not taking Claire's words seriously.

And so the banquet ended, and night fell. Roa went to bed in his room, holding Est.

The day of the Blade Dance Festival finally arrived.

The priestess hosting the Blade Dance Festival stood in the center of the meeting, dressed very lightly, revealing a patch of white skin at a reach.

The girl stood on the stage, lightly coughing a few times to attract everyone's attention.

The priestess began to explain the rules of this year's Blade Dance Festival.

The rules had already been explained before, and repeating them was merely a formality.

This year's Blade Dance Festival was of the survival type; it didn't require your strength to be the strongest among all teams, as long as you survived until the end.

The duration was three days, during which the spirit users would be arranged in a forest on the island to engage in battles.

There were about fifteen teams, and the map was vast, almost unbelievably large.

Because it belonged to the territory of the Wind Elemental Lord, the priestesses had cast a spell similar to map expansion.

The island's space was distorted and overlapped, resulting in the map being expanded by another factor of two.

As for the battles, there was no need to elaborate; let's skip to the results.

The result was, of course, that Roa's team emerged victorious.

However, Roa's team won with great difficulty; if it weren't for Roa, they would likely have been eliminated before reaching the final circle.

During the process, they encountered three teams. The first two teams were quite formidable, and their cooperation was excellent, but they still found it somewhat challenging against Roa's small team.

Moreover, in terms of cooperation, they were slightly inferior.

But how many of those who could participate in the Spirit Blade Dance Festival were easy opponents?

Knowing that they were likely to be eliminated, those spirit users directly unleashed their ultimate moves.

The ultimate moves indeed caused some trouble for Roa.

One of the fire-element spirit users from the second team cast a spirit magic that enveloped the area where Roa was, unleashing heavenly fire that scorched the earth, completely flattening the original forest.

Roa reacted quickly, pulling everyone to run away. After enduring a few falling flames from the sky, they successfully escaped the range of the spell.

The process of battle was not easy; the enemy's counterattacks made it somewhat tricky for Roa.

However, the trouble caused by the opponent was limited to that level of trickiness.

The fight quickly came to an end.

The Blade Dance Festival, which lasted three days, ultimately concluded with a victory for Roa's team.

The spirit users expressed surprise at this outcome.

After all, the academy was quite far from here. While it couldn't be said that information was completely cut off, the intelligence regarding Roa's team was still somewhat lacking.

After the Blade Dance Festival, the remaining task was to make wishes to the Elemental Lord.

Due to the team aspect, the Elemental Lord would grant the wishes of five people. Of course, the power of the wishes was limited; if there were five people, the upper limit of the wishes would be significantly reduced. Moreover, whether the Elemental Lord was willing to fulfill the spirit users' requests was, in a sense, entirely dependent on the Elemental Lord's mood.

After the ceremony, Roa began plotting the assassination of the Elemental Lord.

This was a significant matter that allowed no room for carelessness on Roa's part.

A spirit user was a spirit user, and treating the Elemental Lord as one would treat a spirit user would undoubtedly lead to a major setback.

However, the information about the Elemental Lord was too scarce, and the lack of intelligence left Roa feeling a headache.

Roa's unusual demeanor was in stark contrast to the joyful expressions of the girls. The girls naturally noticed Roa's frowning face, but seeing him troubled, no one said anything.

On the contrary, Ren Ashbelll, who stood to the side, appeared to be deep in thought.

After going through the formalities and being led to the teleportation array by the priestesses, the leading priestess pointed to the formation and said to the five of them, "In any case, congratulations. Go and claim the glory that belongs to you."

After saying this, the priestess bowed and stepped back.

Roa hesitated a bit, glancing back at the girls who were still in the dark, contemplating whether to let them enter with him.

To be honest, he didn't think it was a reliable choice to let the girls in, especially in this situation.

Just as Roa was hesitating, the previously silent Restia suddenly spoke up, "It's fine. Let them in. After the Blade Dance Festival, the Elemental Lord will be conscious for a while, and during this time, they won't harm your flowers raised in the backyard."

Roa's mouth twitched, but he ultimately nodded and decided to let his teammates accompany him inside.

To be honest, in a sense, everyone's strength was not to be underestimated. Even when facing an existence like the Elemental Lord, they should not be instantly killed, right?

They should be fine.

With a somewhat anxious heart, Roa stood on the formation with everyone. The formation emitted a faint glow, and their vision shifted. When everyone opened their eyes again, the scene before them surprised them.

Before them was an island floating in the air.

Roa stood in the center of the island, and a girl was gazing at them.

She appeared to be around sixteen years old, wearing a priestess outfit of the Kuna style, with glowing emerald green long hair and clear blue eyes. She was beautiful, with fair skin.

Almost the moment they saw her, everyone in their hearts thought of her name.

The Wind Elemental Lord, Belphal.

The girl sat gracefully on a throne, and beside her was a long spear entirely in emerald green.

The spear was not a physical object; wind elements swirled around it, and surprisingly, the spear could switch between wind elements and a physical form at any time.
