Maya and I went to Letizia, who was still in a critical condition. Veronica, Emi,l and Maxus as they looked at her with concern.
"She's burning up again," I said as I checked her forehead. "We need to reapply a fresh layer of the ointment. We also need to stitch her up and stop her from losing blood."
"She needs more water as well," Maya added.
Veronica ran out to get some water.
I then noticed Maxus, Cairn, Emil, and Veronica.
"We'll take care of her," I assured Maxus. He met my eyes and stared at me for a moment. He then nodded at me.
"Let's leave them to it," Maxus then ordered everyone to leave the room. Only Veronica would remain. Emil would wait outside watching over his mate.
Maya and I got to work on ensuring Letizia recovered post-partum as well as cleaning and taking care of her baby.
I couldn't believe it. I had helped and witnessed someone give birth. It was scary, terrifying, and yet a beautiful feeling.
