Aside from guarding experiment I also wanted to try something else whilst at it. With our newfound way to hunt outside the village we now wanted to strategize ways to conduct effective hunts while out there. We would head out for a hunt in the next few days.
As the day progressed and it was just after lunch when a wolf came rushing to me. We had eaten something the women had packed for us, as they usually did for us when we were out. The wolf came to me in a rush with a worried expression on their face. I immediately picked up on this and knew something was wrong.
"What's wrong Henry?" I asked him when he came to a standstill in front of me panting loudly.
He opened his mouth and gave me some harrowing news. My facial expression faltered to one of horror. Cairn was on the other side of the border on guarding duty while I was brainstorming hunting methods with a small group of wolves.
"And Carn?" I asked.
"Someone has already been sent to inform him as well," Henry told me.
