The next second, the lights were back. Jazmine Harrison blinked, too stunned to look anywhere when a pair of arms reached out and pulled her back.
"You are too daring. When a woman senses someone in her home this late at night, the first thing she should do is run for help."
In his arms, Jazmine looked up and smiled. "If I had run, your plan would've been ruined."
"What plan?" Sebastian Crowne acted innocent.
Jazmine pointed into the bedroom. "What are you hiding? I know there's someone else in the room." He had purposely obscured her vision by pulling her back when the lights came on—and it must've been him who turned them off in the first place.
Sebastian sighed. "Why is it so difficult to hide something from you?"
"There is someone!" Jazmine hadn't been sure at first. "Thanks for confirming!"
