Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

A few minutes later of [Life Dew] healing and Lapris was back to full health, thankfully they also did the same for Koraidon who was now happily paddling around with me on her back again.

Except now Lapras was following us around as we swam back to land.

It hadn't been a long farewell from Lapras to his flock, just a few head rubs and singing before he was following us along.

I would have ridden on Lapras' back, but this was a treat for Koraidon for winning the battle, her first battle in a watery terrain.

She wanted me to ride on her back for the way back unless something happened.

Meanwhile our little, humongous, nuclear puppy was still following us along, occasionally I would toss in some Oran Berries and rub his head. What a good nuclear puppy he was.

However as we got closer to land I haunted everyone and reached into my bag, digging around for a while before finding a nice black rope.

I tied it in a knot around the center horn of Gyarados. A little farewell present from us to him.

"I think this is time for us to split up little one. Conquer the seas and prove your might." I gently whispered and Gyarados swam back a bit before roaring loudly proclaiming he would conquer all the seas, or so I assumed, before he dipped back into the ocean.

"I'm going to miss our Nuclear Puppy." I said out loud and everyone agreed. He had made good company, and kept everything away. Luckily we were near our next spot, and it was vacation time.

Seafoam Island.

The home of Blaine and the volcano badge. Also the weather was just perfect for some beach side fun. Volleyball, surfing and much more!

"Alright you two, full speed ahead!" I called out as we took off towards the barley visible islands in the distance.

Were we going faster then we should be? Hell yes! Daylight was burning. Based on the time, we got about three hours of sunlight and I wanted to try and book a nice place on the island for ourselves.

"Bzzt! Bzzt! Incoming call! Brock Harrison. Accept or decline? Bzzt!" Rotom anncounced happily as he floated in front of me while keeping up the pace of Koraidon swimming.

"Answer." I calmly said as my hair slapped around.

"Raven! How are you? No more incidents?" Brock asked amused and I grinned.

"Hahaha! Not at all, besides one thing with Koga, a poison type gym leader using a Bug/Steel type pokemon instead of a poison type." I answered loudly as Brock looked confused as he looked at the volume on the PC he was using in the Pokemon center.

"Why are you yelling?" Brock asked confused and I gestured around me as Rotom flew around and showed the area.

"Swimming really fast on the back of Koraidon, I'm taking a nice two week vacation to the seafoam islands." I responded as I looked around the floating phone and saw the much closer approaching islands.

"I see. Well I'm glad you're having fun. I just wanted to call and see how you're doing. Also to let you know I'm heading out on an adventure of my own now. I finally taught father how to fully take care of my siblings, and mom even came back! I've decided to travel with a young trainer named Ash Ketchum and a girl named Misty. So I can be reached at my phone number only now." Brock explained and I smiled, it looks the like plotline has finally began.

"Glad to hear it. I'm sure we'll run into eachother eventually, I'm going to have to let you go now though, the water police are making their way to me. Gotta run, I don't have my sea license to be moving this fast." I grinned and hung up, because that was the truth.

"Eevee, Haunter return for now." I said as I recalled Eevee into her ball. Haunter returned to my shadow. I gently tapped Lapras and captured him in his ball. Then I grinned at Koraidon.

"Punch it!" I gripped on tightly as she roared and kicked off strongly, I'm sure the surfing community would have a good time today.

An hour later of playing loose the popo, and we were finally free, I should probably get my water license to prevent things like this from happening, but damn if it didn't give me the thrill to do this kind of thing.

I know Koraidon felt the same way from her pleased rumbles as we were clutched onto a piece of a cliff and sneakily climbed it avoiding the popo.

We had laughed once we were in the clear, because damn if that didn't get the heart pumping.

However now that we were in the clear, we started making our way into the city area, meanwhile Rotom was looking up nice spots to rent out for now, with the amount of trainers I've been beating up, and the four gym leaders I've beaten as well, I'm not loaded, but I'm not struggling anymore. Also that annoying bastard always battling me dropped a ton of money.

So he was useful for something at least for all the headaches he caused me.

"Bzzt, I've found a spot in the requested parameters. Wooden cabin located in a semi isolated spot nearish to the volcano, open area around, large enough room inside for everyone. Modern. Cost affordable with half of balance for two weeks." Rotom listed off and I smiled.

"Good, rent it out for the next two weeks." I said and Rotom worked on that and lead us in the proper direction, when we got there, I had returned Koraidon and let out Eevee to stretch her legs.

"Eevee?" She asked and I hummed in thought.

"Hm, not tonight, but tomorrow for sure after I do some shopping." I responded as she cheered.

What did she ask me?

If we can have a cook out.

I'm always down for a cook out.

Wait… did I just understand Eevee?

Ok, that's an issue for later me to focus on. Right now, it's vacation time.
