Mu Shuoqian furrowed his brows, slowly pulling the car to the side of the road.
Gu Qili quickly unbuckled her seat belt, "Wait a moment, I'm going in to buy something and I'll be right back. It won't take long."
Knowing he was always short on patience, she quickly sought to please him, and upon receiving his unspoken consent, Gu Qili opened the car door and sprinted toward a store, almost tripping over a curbstone because she ran too fast.
Mu Shuoqian's furrowed brows deepened.
A few minutes later, Gu Qili came back panting and knocked on his side of the car window.
Mu Shuoqian lowered the window, and her rosy, gleaming little face almost bumped into his nose, her warm breath carrying a sweet citrus scent.
Gu Qili was a bit embarrassed to speak, her dark eyes shifting to the navigation system ahead, not daring to meet his gaze.
"I didn't bring enough money, can you lend me some?"
