Lin Qing was arranged to live in the small wooden and bamboo pavilion not far from Chunhui Hall. Aside from her own maid named Sang'er, Madam Song had also assigned two more maidservants to help her.
Initially, Madam Song intended to assign two more maids to attend to her, but Lin Qing preferred solitude and didn't like having too many people around. Since she was already used to having only Sang'er by her side, she refused.
Lin Qing's luggage was not much, with only a few garments. Apart from a medicine chest, there were only a few precious medical books, making her belongings quite minimalistic.
While Sang'er was arranging the luggage, Lin Qing sat on the Arhat bed by the window, resting her chin on her hand, daydreaming as she gazed at the green bamboo outside.
"Master, would you like to rest for a while?" Sang'er walked over and asked respectfully.
