Chapter 32 - A Taste of Living Large

An hour later, the car arrived at Jason's suburban villa.

The assistant was already waiting at the door. "Everything you asked has been done. All daily necessities and food are ready, and the room is clean."

The service was really thoughtful! It's good to be friends with the rich! And such generous treatment!

Jason nodded, looked at us, and said, "Let's go in and take a look."

The villa was a modern building with a garden in the yard and a swimming pool next to the garden. The water in the pool was clear and there must be someone dedicated to cleaning and maintaining it.

Rich people just know how to enjoy themselves.

The villa is divided into two floors. The first floor was a gorgeous living room, where every detail and furnishing is handled very finely. The dazzling crystal lights illuminate the entire hall, making it look like a magnificent palace. The upper floor is the bedroom, which accommodated several rooms. There was a fixed distance between the rooms, so there was no need to worry about being affected.

Jason arranged a room for each of us and prepared new daily necessities for us. Even the sheets and quilt covers were brand new and neatly laid on the bed without a wrinkle.

"You guys just stay here tonight, and I'll pick you up tomorrow morning to go to the set for the audition." Jason said.

Emily smiled and said good night to Jason.

"Mr. Cameron , thank you and I'm sorry for the trouble." Quincy said politely, a little reserved.

Jason smiled and said familiarly, "We are from the same hometown. Just call me Jason from now on."

Quincy laughed dryly, feeling a little weird. After all, he was a popular actor! Wasn't it inappropriate to call him by his name?

It was almost half past twelve when Jason left the villa.

Quincy and Emily took a quick shower and went to bed. After all, we had to go to the set for an audition tomorrow, and it would be a bit boring if we had dark circles under our eyes!

Maybe she was too excited, and of course a little nervous, but Emily dreamed about the audition on the set all night.

In terms of appearance, she was still confident! After all, the 70-year-old man in the hospital reacted when he saw me!

The next things were talent and figure. There was nothing to worry about the latter, as Emily have worked hard in her previous life.

As for talent, she believed in her natural talents.

The next day, the weather was fine and windy, Emily got up very early. After washing up, she changed into nice clothes and went downstairs.

Quincy had already prepared breakfast and was about to go upstairs to wake me up.

"My beloved, your cooking skills are excellent! I'm in for a treat!" Emily sniffed. The sandwiches on the plate looked very appetizing.

"You silly girl, just keep teasing me!" Quincy rolled her eyes, pulled out a chair and sat down.

Emily laughed and continued to tease her, "Do you think this atmosphere is bad, my dear?"

Quincy was speechless. She lowered her head and continued eating, pretending she heard nothing. She would not make herself feel bored. With delicious food in front of her, she would fill her stomach first and satisfy her craving for food.

At 7:30 in the morning, Jason drove over. His senior's filming location was in the suburbs of California, not too far from here.

They packed up their things and set off with Jason.

Helios No. 1 Film Studio.

Judging from the set setup, Emily concluded that this should be a costume drama.

There were a lot of people gathered outside the set, all coming to watch the fun.

Before entering the set, she could clearly hear the shouting coming from inside. Yea, it was great to be here.

"What are all the makeup artists doing standing there? Are you deaf? Come up and touch up your makeup!" An angry roar was heard from the set.

Quincy couldn't help but shudder. The first time she came to the set, she was terrified!

"Emily, I guessed being an actor is not easy!" Quincy shrank back a little.

"Don't be afraid! In this circle, directors are notoriously bad tempered! I guess something went wrong during the filming and the director is angry! As long as we do our job well, they shouldn't make things difficult for us." Emily comforted her.

Jason looked at the middle-aged man sitting next to the camera, smiled helplessly, and said, "My brother has this kind of temper. He is strict with himself and his work, but he is still a good person. You will understand after you get to know him for a while."

"I understand!" Emily made an OK gesture and smiled.

The director was famous for his strange temper, which was not uncommon in the entire film and television industry. Emily waw not surprised.

But Quincy was different. She was a complete newcomer with little experience, so it was normal for her to be afraid.

As they were talking, the director suddenly turned around and looked at them.

Emily and Quincy were both shocked.

Jason smiled and said familiarly, "Brother, this is the Emily I was talking about, an Instagram celebrity."

Jason's senior brother looked to be around forty years old, with a bald head and a solemn face, especially his eyes, which seemed particularly deep and sharp, and his expression was slightly annoyed.

After all, it was Jason who introduced her, so he had to give him this face.

The director instantly regained his friendly face, looked at me for a few times, and said, "Although we are more like brothers, there are still some rules to follow. After all, this is not a child's game. How about an audition first?"

"Brother, don't worry. I guarantee that you will like Emily" Jason promised.

Oh my god, Jason, where do you get such confidence? But, it was true! Emily was a time traveler from her previous life. She'd been in this industry for a few years. She had even won the female supporting role. Why would she worry about a mere audition?

"Emily, this is Mr. Anderson. He's like my senior brother. He's currently the director and producer of this play. Don't let me down." Jason continued.

Emily smiled and said, "Hello Mr. Anderson, I will do my best and not let you down!"

Maxim Anderson nodded and asked, "Have you ever filmed a movie?"

"No." Emily answered honestly.

How could there not be any? In her previous life, she had acted in stage plays and played minor roles in TV dramas, so she had some experience.

But that was all in the last life, no one knew. She couldn't admit it either!

"Brother, I didn't tell you too much about her situation on the phone that day. Although she is not from the acting department and had never filmed a TV series, I think she has great potential and is very talented in art. If she can be trained well, I believe she will be a good seedling." Jason chimed in and spoke well of me.

It was normal for a director to have doubts and not want to use a newcomer like her. After all, this was related to the director's reputation, movie hits and TV ratings after the TV series is broadcast. How could they be careless?

"It's okay.ill believe in your judgment? The person you recommended must be right." Anderson shouted, "Bring me a script.""
