1 Week later
Sitting at the window seat, Sam's eyes wandered outside of the bus.
'First and last trip of school.'
"Hey Sam!"
A voice reverberated and his attention unconsciously drifted to the troublemaker.
'My shit luck!'
Cursing under his breath, he gave a faint smile which seemed to be begging him to stop teasing him. And another eye fell on him which almost made him stare blankly.
'Amisha!'
She almost narrowed her eyes and looked him up and down before turning her head.
'You shit! You're really drowning my tiny drops of reputation which still remain after the fuss made by the previous owner.'
Cursing at his own luck, Sam's eyes flickered and already a plan formed in his mind.
As Piyush almost reached near his range, he grabbed his arm and yanked him to his side and lowered down his head.
Thud! Thud!
Several fists and open palms fell on Piyush's back.
"Aahh!"
Rubbing his back, Piyush got up and gave a vicious stare to Sam.
"You shouldn't have done that to me."
Sam almost noticed the cunning grin on Piyush's face which almost made his hair stand up.
"Piyush, I'm sorry...
I won't do that again."
"Sam! You should had already given a thought previously."
As both of them were cursing and teasing each other, everyone else was also busy in their groups.
Sam's eyes lit up as he noticed his saviour.
"Rahul! Come here!"
As Rahul searched for a better seat, he heard and waved his hand.
"Thanks for booking my seat."
Piyush suddenly sat down beside Sam's seat.
"Rahul! That's my seat."
Ignoring Piyush, Rahul leaned down and gave a faint smile to Sam and Sam returned a faint smile.
Retracting his feet, Sam started to bind his shoelaces while Piyush almost stuck to Sam.
"Sam! Don't think this time you're going to trick me."
Understanding that his already-used trick had failed, he stood up and pushed down Piyush while sneering.
"Don't think I don't know what trick you're brewing!"
"Rahul! Come between us."
Thud!
Sam's voice was enough, Rahul already jumped down between both of them.
"Ok, you three. Time is nearing."
The trio narrowed their eyes and stared at the class captain.
The class captain gave a bitter smile.
"Ok. I didn't mean to interrupt but to say that the bus will start at any moment so it's better to take the seat just behind you."
The trio stood up simultaneously and adjusted the wrinkles of their shirts and pushed down under their formal pants.
After adjusting the wrinkles, Rahul moved to the seat behind.
"Ok, I'm going to sit behind you."
Both of them sat down.
"Piyush, joke is one thing but you should know that there is nothing possible between us and also there was never anything between us."
"Ok, I won't joke."
"Hmm. It would be better to realize the reality now than to waste your efforts on unrecognizable efforts."
Rahul suddenly leaned between them and brought his recently known intel.
"I heard that she's dating Nagmani."
"Don't give me that look!"
Sam almost defended himself while crossing both arms.
"He already got cucked before even..."
"Ah! Our poor Sam!"
"Rahul! Even you?"
"Sam, you won't take it to heart. Right?"
"NO, he will take it in his mouth."
Hearing both of them cursing in front of him, his whole face turned red like a beet potato as if recently boiled.
"Don't you think he looks cute, Rahul?"
"Since you said so, I noticed he does look cute and his face looks like a girl-killer."
"Then why did he get cucked, Rahul?"
Hearing cussing about himself non-stop, Sam understood that this trip was going to consume him entirely and only one thing could save him.
Taking out his wireless Bluetooth, he connected it with Rahul's device and laid his entire body on the seat, lifelessly.
Thud!
The bus suddenly jerked back due to starting and almost everyone's head bumped against the seat in front of them.
"Don't be in a hurry. Driver sir, take it calmly."
Time continued to pass and around 10 minutes went by and noticing that the topic had almost died down, Sam opened his eyes and stared at the bus ceiling.
"Thank God! The school organized this trip on Sunday and I've already put down the rune pill and the training center is also closed today."
Thinking about the fact that just a month ago, he transmigrated and almost dissolved into his already existing teammates—though his teammates were the biggest assholes of his world.
'Now, I've brought everything onto the right track.'
If given a thought, the trio's priority was to take admission in the Rune Association Intermediate College, though it was everyone's priority, but if they didn't, they would still contact each other as they live now. But who's going to tell his friends that the upcoming life is going to be tiring, almost consuming all their time in managing their own lives.
"Childish dreams should be left in child's dream notes."
Whispering under his breath, Sam almost closed his eyes.
"Hey! What are you muttering to yourself?"
Sam shook his head.
"Nothing. Just reminding myself."
"Hey! Why are you getting so serious? There are dozens of such types of girls and if you really want, then I can introduce you to much better..."
As Piyush encouraged or sympathized with him, his voice almost lowered with passing time.
