Sun Sihai followed Uncle Ban Zhao straight to the backyard, where they saw the master sitting and drinking with a few guests.
The guests were all familiar faces—
including Master Miao Fa from Rao Mountain's White Cloud Temple,
and Master Hong Yuan from Double Dragon Mountain's Baoyi Temple.
Also present were "Iron Palm King" Ban Ya and "Golden Eagle King" Jin Shenggu, two of the Eight Great Kings of Meishan.
The first two were the master's close friends,
while the latter two were his disciples.
All of them could be considered family.

Being the junior among them, Sun Sihai paid his respects to each, and was then pulled to sit down by Ban Ya, who was already quite drunk. With a slurred tongue, Ban Ya said, "You returned late; drink three cups first!"
