Chapter 225: Superpower Academy's Major Upgrade

"Finally finished the plasma electromagnetic cannon."
After five days of working with only one hour of sleep each day, and testing the plasma electromagnetic cannon's effect using his panda clone, George finally let out a long sigh of relief.
"Next, it's about time to properly upgrade the school."
During this period, he had been considering thoroughly upgrading the school—both in terms of technology and magic.

George waved his wand and cast the Fidelius Charm over the entire school.

The Fidelius Charm was a spell far more powerful than the Muggle-Repelling Charm.
The Muggle-Repelling Charm only worked on non-magical people—essentially an underlying psychological suggestion that made them ignore buildings protected by the spell as they approached.
In S.H.I.E.L.D.'s words, it was a strange magnetic field that interfered with the brain.
For people with magical powers or strong mental abilities, it was essentially ineffective, and not difficult to break with technological means either.
But the Fidelius Charm was different. This extremely complex and advanced spell, in George's view, essentially established a magical rule.

Magical schools like Hogwarts commonly used such spells to make themselves impossible for Muggles to find, thus ensuring the students' safety.
After casting the two high-level spells, George spread his wings and flew into the sky to reconfigure the formation barrier.
This time, the formation was purely defensive. The first two spells prevented enemies from locating the school, but in the event of a large-scale indiscriminate attack in the surrounding area, the school could still be hit.
Once the formation was set, he flew directly to the open space in front of the school's castle. Here, rows of over a hundred massive metal statues were lined up, all custom-made from the best alloy by Tony.
Among them were mythical creatures from both Eastern and Western legends: dragons, three-headed hellhounds, hydras, nine-tailed foxes, Bai Ze, Kui, phoenixes, qilins, taowu, and more.
"Mimic Morph!"
Holding his wand, George walked up to each of the metal statues and cast the Mimic Morph spell, bringing them all to life one by one.
With George's level of mastery over Mimic Morph, it would normally be impossible to animate such large chunks of metal and imbue them with magical power.
But thanks to his new wand with over twenty times amplification, he could easily manage it.
Unfortunately, the amplification effects of wands in the Harry Potter world also had limits—it couldn't achieve infinite amplification. At most, it could only reach twenty-something times.
Otherwise, given that the wand was made from the World Tree and the nerves of the Frost Giant King's heart, its amplification should've surpassed Fairy Tail's wands by far. But in reality, the difference wasn't that large.
The main reason was that the magical level in the Harry Potter world only went so high. The technology of wand-making could only reach that level—no matter how good the materials were, they couldn't make up for the technological gap.

Currently, because of the wand, his Marvel main body was the strongest, followed by his Fairy Tail world clone, then his Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Apprentice world clones being about equal, and finally, his newest clone in the Misaka world being the weakest due to lacking a wand.
"George, that magic of yours is impressive—more interesting than the magic in our divine realm."
Just as George had finished casting Mimic Morph and hadn't yet had time to disperse the metal statues around the school for hiding, a familiar voice came from behind.
It was Thor, the God of Thunder, holding a copy of The War Elegy in his hand.
He had been at the school with George for some time. Every day he either attended Professor X's political philosophy classes, listened to Steve Rogers tell his stories, or read world classics and watched war films based on everyone's suggestions.
"Thor, how are you feeling lately? Tried lifting the hammer again?"
George waved his hand to control the metal statues as they dispersed and smiled as he asked Thor.
Thor immediately nodded:
"I've made great progress. I now understand why the All-Father no longer wants to wage war.
This morning, I gave it a try—the hammer is already starting to move. If nothing goes wrong, I should be able to lift Mjolnir and regain all my powers within a few days."
